2024 CSE Graduate, Freelanced in Digital Marketing, Now Completely Stuck

2024 Graduate, Need Career Advice – Feeling Completely Lost

Hi everyone,

I completed my B.Tech exams in 2024, but I had one arrear. I cleared it in March 2025 and received my degree.

Because I urgently needed money, I chose to do freelance digital marketing instead of preparing for a software job. It helped for a while, but now getting freelance work has become really difficult, and I need a stable job.

Before this, I started learning coding, but I honestly didn't even complete 25% of it. I know many of you might criticize me for not building enough skills, and I accept that. It was my mistake.

Now I'm completely confused about what to do next. I need a job, but I also want a career with good growth. I'm willing to spend the next 6–7 months learning if it gives me a realistic chance of getting hired.

Can you please suggest:

\* Which role should I target in 2026?

\* What skills should I learn from scratch?

\* Which path has good demand for freshers and decent career growth?

I've been looking on LinkedIn, but I hardly see many openings for freshers, which makes me feel even more lost.

Please don't judge me. I'm genuinely looking for advice from people who have been in a similar situation. I just want to make the right decision and start building my career.

Am from chennai , if anybody could help me please i really needed it and am willing to give my 100% on it

Never buying TCL again, Replacement Accepted Without My Consent

I wanted to share my experience with TCL and see if anyone else has faced something similar.

I purchased a TCL 43C655 QLED TV. After just 1 year and 2 months, the display panel failed while the TV was still under warranty. A technician visited and confirmed that the panel was defective.

When I raised a warranty claim, TCL informed me that they no longer had stock of the 43C655 and wanted to replace it with a 43P7K.

Here's where things became frustrating.

When TCL called regarding the replacement, I was not at home. My brother attended the call. During the conversation, my brother clearly told them that he was not the owner of the TV and that they should speak directly with me when I returned home.

Despite this, TCL continued discussing the replacement with him and eventually treated the matter as if the replacement had been accepted.

Later that evening, I personally called TCL and asked for details about the replacement model. The representative couldn't properly explain the specifications or how the model compared to my original TV.

For the next two days, I repeatedly contacted TCL and asked a simple question:

How was a replacement approved and initiated without my consent when I am the actual customer?

I also explained that my brother had specifically told them he was not the owner and that they should wait to speak with me directly.

Eventually, a manager contacted me. Instead of addressing my concern about consent and model equivalence, the discussion mainly focused on convincing me to accept the replacement model that I never chose.

After a long conversation, I clearly stated that the situation was not acceptable to me and that the issue existed because TCL proceeded without obtaining my approval. The manager said he would update the case.

However, nothing changed.

I then contacted TCL's main customer support again for the straight 5 days. They told me that their team would call me back, but they didn't called me back.

I sent emails. No meaningful response.

I followed up multiple times. Still no resolution.

At this point, I feel like I am being ignored rather than helped.

For context, I was previously a Sony Bravia user. I purchased TCL because my budget was limited and the specifications looked attractive on paper. Even though I wasn't fully satisfied with the colour processing from day one, I decided to keep the TV. Then, after only 1 year and 2 months, the panel failed completely.

Today I finally filed a complaint through the National Consumer Helpline because I don't feel TCL has handled this situation fairly.

My main issue isn't just the panel failure. Electronics can fail. My issue is the way the replacement process has been handled, including proceeding with a replacement discussion through someone who explicitly said he wasn't the owner and then treating that as acceptance.

Has anyone else had a similar warranty experience with TCL? What was the outcome?
