I use a MacBook for work and I’m simply fascinated by the live wallpapers how beautiful they are and how much they enhance the experience. It’s not a particularly flashy animation but the smooth transition is still an animation in its own right. If I simply drag the Desktop palace to the corner with the mouse and activate the screensaver with the wallpaper...there’s something similar available for Gnome?

A friend of mine has switched from Windows to Fedora. I’d like to know if there are any tips on how he can look after Fedora. As you know, Windows tends to slow down over time and so on and so forth. He just wants to know what he can do in Fedora to keep his system as clean and lightweight as possible, even in the future.

Now I’m wondering what could be done about this? Well, basically the only thing that springs to mind is the auto-remove command to get rid of useless packages but I’m not even sure if that works in Fedora bc that was for APT.

So I’m passing the question on to you and I’d love to hear how you’d respond to a question like that...

Can I install the Beta of TrueNAS and then update to the Release Candidate or later to the Stable Version?

The reason is that I’m getting some new hardware today or tomorrow and would like to install Beta 2 straight away, so that I can then update to the stable version later....

What do you think? I mean if it’s possible, is it worth doing or is it better to steer clear of it? You have to bear in mind that I’ve got absolutely no experience with this and don’t want to end up doing the work twice. So, many thanks in advance for any tips, no matter how small ✌️

I’ve tried the KTC and, to be honest, I’m cursing anyone who would recommend a monitor like that (HVA for text useless). Xiaomi gets nothing but hate and the rest are no name brands (Titan Army) as well as 4K dual monitors at OLED prices. I’m really at my wits’ end so I’m looking for help. What would you recommend at this point?

The new Xiaomi is supposed to be no different from its predecessor but costs + 300 euros. MSI, with the best name in monitor history, only offers 4K :( 1080p on a 27 inch screen is awful.
