Not sure of the year, as I haven’t looked at the pot codes or anything. I’ve seen versions with a slightly different style logo. In any case, it’s a pretty cool bass that has a bunch of gigs under its belt.

This is a very fun guitar. Like a double bound 360 with hi gain pickups instead of toasters. 21 frets instead of 24. I’m happy Rickenbacker finally came to their senses about that.

After spending a good portion of the 90’s owning/playing various 70’s SG’s and selling them all, I had a hankering for one again. This is a 1976. No breaks. All straight except the lead pickup and the strap lock strap buttons. Too bad they don’t still cost $400-500 or I would have bought several.
In any case, I just wanted to share.
