28 and have played guitar most of my life but can jam on bass and drums as well (have a drum set and practice space). Had a couple bands in high school and am very motivated to start another.

Into MCR, Nirvana, Streetlight Manifesto, Gorillaz, Weezer, The Format, and mostly other indie 90s-00’s stuff, plus anything punk from any time, or poppy and funky from the 70s/80s (Queen, ABBA, Earth Wind & Fire, etc.) Down to trade playlists, jam, or write songs

Like in the moment, right afterwords, to help the paralysis dissipate without ignoring the issue. I find it’s often overwhelming and can interrupt my daily productivity. Any tips or anecdotes? Music, podcasts, exercising etc. only help so much. Is there like, a checklist you use to keep yourself on the rails when you spiral?Especially with feeling so much guilt from my own past contributions to the problem.
