hi all, UK hobbyist silversmith here who mainly uses kitchen torches and previously larger ones connected to air pumps at night school.

I recently inherited the pictured torch.

can anyone walk me through what’s need to set it up? What tubes, type of gas (and how to store it), valves ( diaphragm? ), etc.

The leaves are growing twisted with the tips ‘inverted’. to begin with I thought that they’d even out once fully grown but sadly not. I’m keeping the plant away from direct sunlight, keeping the soil slightly damp and feeding with Westland houseplant feed on alternate weeks.

It’s all guesswork and I’ve no idea what I’m doing.

I saw on the news today that Alan Rothwell passed away today. I never watched Corrie but I particularly remember him in The Picture Box. particularly the Peter and the Wolf episode.

I loved the way that I found the titles at the beginning slightly unnerving.

None of my mates seem to remember this. Does anyone else have a strong memory of this or any other similarly disturbing kids tv?
