Disability lawyer recommendations? (Surrey / Lower Mainland, BC)

Hello, sub, hoping u can point me in the right direction.

My partner was recently denied their long‑term disability claim, and we're now looking for legal help to appeal the decision. We're based in Surrey, but open to working with a firm anywhere in BC (and probably accross Canada as well, doesn't matter, just need to be sure that guys will know how it works in our local courts) as long as they handle disability denials.

I've spent hours scrolling through firm websites, and NGL it's honestly exhausting. My partner's case involves complex medical documentation and a pretty stubborn insurer, so as I told above - we need someone who knows the ins and outs of disability law in this province, not just a general personal injury lawyer.

if you have anything to say on topic - we'd love to hear your story and feedback asap.

We're not looking for a miracle, simply need a level playing field when dealing with all these crooks in the insurance industry..

Roofing in Burlington help me pls

my uncle bought small place in Burlington and roof leaks bad whenever it rains (every single time). He’s stuck between patching it or full replacement, but has no clue what makes sense long-term. Any advice on what to check first, or when repair is waste of money? It’s a tiled roof. We’re considering a metal roof as well, but not sure how it compares in the long term.

Pls help me i'm complete beginner and don’t know the first thing about it, and my uncle has a disability so it’s hard for him to manage this on his own

disability lawyers in Burnaby (Vancouver, CA)?

Im from Burnaby and I recently got denied LTD after chemo recovery, even tho my oncologist says im still way too weak for any kind of work... tbh its all so stressful. Never used services of disability lawyers, but it seems there’s no way round it here, so does somebody know decent Vancouver disability lawyers who actually fight these types of cases?

Payment switching architecture issue

I'm ops lead at 9-person invoice-financing startup in US. We’re mapping payment switching for routing card/ACH payouts between processors, fallback rails, settlement files, reconciliation, audit logs etc. Client now ask if we can handle multi-acquirer routing and failover properly. At what point we should stop duct-taping integrations and bring in real switching architects? Cloud-first okay, or do banks expect heavier in-house stack? Any common gotchas?

TYSM!
