At one point during a multi-year project, my team’s daily scrum meetings were 7:30am ET, slightly worse for those on CT (6:30am). They eventually moved to 8:00am ET, but even this still feels early.
Our dev asks heavy, complex questions and it’s been a hassle giving quality answers due to the earliness and promptness of the calls for the past several years :(
Is this a normal time?
I think it’s been proven enough at this point that premium, niche and speciality markets like Berkley’s, Royal Blue, and now Ari’s Pantry just doesn’t work for downtown. With a population nearing 20K, downtown proper deserves an everyday regular grocery retailer.
Have quite a lengthy layover in LA coming up and would like to know some of the best places to grab a bite to eat not too far from LAX.
I’m thinking fast-casual/relatively affordable, nothing fancy. Just some good tacos, hot dogs, etc. type of food!
Call me greedy, but would’ve loved for these guys to have chosen Dallas.
I assumed recent moves / investments from Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, NYSE, Charles Schwab, Scotiabank and the presence of other financial institutions would’ve been enough to select the finance capital of the state.
