What's your favorite Spanish learning app for getting to workplace bilingual?

Looking for more Spanish language learning app recommendations. So much out there with all the new AI language apps like Learna and Praktika, so trying to crowdsource from people who've actually stuck with it long enough.

I'm at daily practice on Duolingo plus Falou, watching shows in Spanish (working through La Casa de las Flores right now), and reading a few simple articles a week.

I'm still getting stuck on grammar and progression, like I can follow casual stuff, but anything I'd need for work just falls apart quick. Tenses, register, formal phrasing. So, I've added Babbel into the rotation for the grammar-focused progression since their Spanish course goes up to C1 and fills the gap immersion alone can't.

The goal is workplace bilingual, competent enough to handle meetings and emails without it being painful for the Spanish speakers I'm working with.

What else do people use? Especially anything good for the jump from B1/B2 to professional use, or business Spanish tools. Open to anything.

Direct voter contact by text feels under-discussed in campaign research

Campaign people talk about texting like it is obviously effective, but I do not think the academic side has fully caught up with how central it has become operationally. It is not just another communication channel at this point. It changes cadence, staffing, response expectations, and even how quickly campaigns can test language. I have seen organizations run that work through tools such as RumbleUp, but what interests me more is how if done right, repeated SMS contact builds trust. Like give value before you ask for value, which is not common in the research space.

Throwing a 40th for my husband what are people using for digital birthday invitations for adult?

Hello wonderful people! my husband is turning 40 in July and I want to make it really special for him. We have been married 13 years, he works so hard and is the most amazing dad to our 7year old, he genuinely deserves the world 💕 Now this is where I need help lol.. I want to do digital invites for his party but I'm not tech savvy at all so I need something easy to set up but that still looks nice and grown up. Has anyone done digital invites for a milestone birthday?? Also any tips for older guests who might struggle with technology would be so helpful!!🙏

Is IDP from International Drivers Association valid for SEA?

Planning a driving trip through Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia this fall and I'm trying to figure out the legal requirements. I've got my German driver's license obviously, but I keep reading conflicting stuff online about whether that's enough or if I need some kind of international permit for Southeast Asia. I'm already looking at websites that offer IDP but I'm not sure if it's valif. Has anyone actually driven through those countries and what documentation did you end up needing? I want to rent a car and not deal with sketchy situations at checkpoints so I'm trying to get this right before I leave.
