Yes, I Hate Trump Too. But I Also Realize Canadians Are In Psychosis

Yes, I hate Trump. Yes I despise people in this country that take his side over our country. That being said, I am not proud of Canadians. I am not elbows up. And I hate agreeing with Liberals about Trump because I am not on their side. In fact, I think just like Trump supporters, they are in psychosis of their own. They are just as hypocritical and delusional. Let's go over hypocrisy. They are okay with their side doing anything as long as it is done by a Liberal. Dropping carbon tax was considered anti-intellectual until "the genius" Mark Carney did it. Now they champion it. Canadian Conservatives were called xenophobic for years until Liberals themselves realized they fucked up immigration and started (slowly) closing loopholes and immigration streams. Just like Trump supporters who hate "Communism" and government handouts until Trump does it (DOGE cheques, tariff dividends and now $5000 dividend to everyone). And, just like Trump supporter your average Liberal is in psychosis. They think Mark Carney is good at handling Donald Trump. In what way? What do they even base it on? Sure, you could say that we have not bent over to Donald Trump. Fair enough. But we have not achieved anything either. It's like Trump claiming victory over Iran for blowing the shit out of them. Sure you did damage. But you have not toppled the regime or achieved anything permanent. Same thing here. Carney is simply getting credit for not completely bending over. And your average dumbass Liberal sees that as a victory. They think we are winning the trade war. Just like your idiot MAGA Republican thinks US is beating us at a trade war. In reality both our countries are suffering economically.

Fuck Liberal Canadians

Poilievre Is Right To Keep A Low Profile

I see both moderate and more to the right Conservatives here bitching that Poilievre and CPC are not doing enough. Either not criticizing Carney enough or not criticizing US and Trump enough. Here is the thing. None of this matters.

This is why I despise people that don't hate Trump and his administration here. Because regardless of what Poilievre does, he won't beat Carney until US and Trump stop being a campaign issue. Until then for a vast majority of voters the only important issue for them is US - Canada trade war and standing up to Trump. It is known as "rally around the flag" phenomenon. It happened during COVID and it's happening again now because US tariffs and rhetoric is disruptive.

Poilievre by criticizing Carney doesn't gain anything. We have already seen that over the last year. Carney promised to get a good deal with United States. Carney didn't get a deal. Yet the polling has not gone down but up for Liberals. Why? Because the vast majority of people view Trump and his administration as bad faith and irrational actors. Hence, they are excusing Carney's inability to get a deal.

Poilievre criticizing Trump and US will not get him any votes. Sure Liberals and elbows up crowd will be happy. But they will never go "okay my vote goes to Poilievre". Because Carney is already occupying that flank and they're clearly happy with him. At the same time by criticizing Trump and US and not the Liberals, Poilievre has nothing to campaign on if election is to be called.

So Poilievre is right to keep a low profile. Even though I believe people are stupid for hating him. A lot of people hate him. And by keeping out of the news for a long time, people will forget about him. It gives him a blank slate. For those thinking it's not possible just look at Trump. He was hated by independents after his first term ended. He had a horrible approval rating. Even Republicans were thinking of replacing him with less controversial MAGA figure like De Santis. Despite all this he came back and won by even bigger margin than in 2016.

Poilievre should keep a low profile and plan for the future after Trump and US trade war is no longer a campaign issue.

I Don't Care About Winning

If Mark Carney was in the Conservative Party with the same policies, I wouldn't be happy with the government as I am now. So I don't care about winning if it means being exactly as the Liberals. If it means Canada becomes a one-party state. Then so be it. All my adult life Liberals have been in power. I'm in my 30s now. So I'm used to Canada's slow destruction and already made up my mind that after I save enough money or start a business I will move from this garbage dump of a country filled with too many Progressive idiots hell-bent on destroying their own standards of living. And I know there are some of you Liberal cunts that would be happy. Which is fitting. You guys get happy as well when our doctors and when Canadian businesses get big enough they move to the States?

So Libs. Enjoy your election wins while the country continues to have a stagnant economy, declining standards of living, continued flow of capital to United States, run down government services like healthcare 😘

Some Of You Don't Want To Trade With China. But US Has No Problem Replacing Our Oil With Communist Venezuela

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cx2zlwe7qj1o

Thoughts? Why are some of you America First and Canada Last Fake Conservatives refusing to sign deals that are beneficial to us while our biggest enemy US is completely okay signing deals with other Communist Dictatorships like Venezuela? We need to export our oil to other countries aside from US which we sell for pennies.

Why Is Carney Putting His Investments Over Canada?

I'm sorry we fight back against United States and their idiotic trade war by putting US liquor off the shelves but our politicians can't bother to pull out their private investments from United States and into Canada? Why is 90% of Carney's portfolio in US? The majority of my portfolio is in Canadian companies and trusts and I'm doing really well this year. How does Carney and his supporters square this? If Carney wanted to fight back against United States and their bullying and support our economy that is under attack, shouldn't he diversify away from United States when it comes to his own money?

As they say put your money where your mouth is. This should be a much bigger issue. I think Poilievre should be pushing Mark Carney to follow his rhetoric with actions and divest from United States immediately.

GOP Under Trump Are Tariffists

A terrorist is a person who uses unlawful violence and fear to intimidate a public or force a government to meet a political, religious, or ideological goal.

GOP Under Trump are using tariffs to force our government and other governments across the world towards their own political and ideological agenda. The agenda is to extract money or legislation that is favorable to US.

They're not much better than terrorists. So at the moment the United States is a worse ally than China. You can call me fake Conservative. You can call me a commie. I don't care. The reality is going to hurt you. Most Canadians believe China is now a better ally than United States and US acting like Tariffists is why. I know many of you want to be cucks for United States and you're free to cross the border and be JD Vance's couch. But the majority of Conservatives and the majority of Canadians are not with you. You have no voice. Go seethe.

Does Polling Account For People No Longer Voting?

I don't take part in polls but let's say I did. Right now if I'd get polled I'd say I'm not voting because our elections are a sham. I am not an undecided voter. Id still vote CPC. But I have no faith that anything will change. So I'm not interested in voting or our democracy really. So what does the polling company do? They look for another respondent right?

And if there are many more Conservatives like me. That are demoralized. It could explain the big lead the Liberals are having without improving their own support.

They Are Taking Over

Indians are taking over. I hear this all the time. The logic goes that there are so many of them that they will take over the government soon. And when they do they will pass open border policies. Pass soft on crime policies. Run a corrupt government that grants government contracts to themselves. Refuse to crack down on rising homelessness, noise pollution, and other disorder. Disarm the population. Neglect our history and institutions.

Wait a moment. Does that remind you of some other group? Oh yeah, the Liberals. Look up what are the Whitest provinces in Canada. It's the four Atlantic provinces. Now look up the last time a federal conservative party won the most seats in Atlantic Canada. It was 1988.

Ontario is 54% White and it is more Conservative than any Atlantic Province where the white population is over 90%.

No I'm not afraid of Indians taking over. I'm still angry at those White Liberal Boomers ruining Canada.

I Know A Lot Of Perplexed Liberals If Navdeep Bains Becomes Ontario Liberal Leader

I personally know a lot of Liberal ABC voters which will find it very hard to vote for Navarro Bains if he will be leader next election. My dad is one of them. I secretly hope he wins just so I can ask my dad "who you voting for" in the next election with that SpongeBob Grin. My dad been complaining about "too many Indians recently" while supporting federal and provincial Liberal parties. Well basically anyone but Conservative. I know other voters like him even if they don't like to admit it.

Not gonna lie I kinda want him to win next election because a lot of Hindus are gonna be mad and it will be nice to see these White boomers that voted for these immigration policies to see a foreign conflict evolve right under their noses. It will also expose this myth that Liberals are not racist to other minorities.

Are There Other Conservatives That Simply Just Don't Care Anymore?

After the last election defeat which seemed inconceivable after seeing the polling in 2024, does anyone just don't care anymore? Whether you want to admit it or not, Liberals were given a clean slate after Mark Carney was chosen as leader. If it took 9 years to defeat Justin Trudeau, it probably will take longer for your average voter to sour on Mark Carney. He was not elected on bringing change like Trudeau was. There are no grand expectations placed on him. Until 2028 your average voter will have confidence in Mark Carney just because he's not Donald Trump. He doesn't have to deliver shit until 2028. Your average Canadian voter will excuse any negative results because "US is trying to destroy our economy". Any concessions by Carney will be excused as "well he has no other choice". They will likely call an election in 2028 to coincide with US election also happening in 2028. And whether it is Poilievre or another Conservative leader, Liberals will once again paint him/her as a Republican which is unpatriotic and a traitor. This will work really well with boomers. They will win in 2028 and have at least another 4 years. That means the Liberal reign will likely end in 2031/2032. 6 Years from now.

I will be mid-30s. They voted out Conservatives around the time I became an adult. And I have seen this country become worse in every way since then. So I just don't care anymore. I will continue voting CPC because it is the only national party that wants to deliver a brigther future for everyone. But I don't follow Poilievre as much as I used to. If you were to ask me what issues he is hammering Liberals on recently, I wouldn't know. Also after seeing right wing leaders elected in Ontario, UK and United States and deliver absolutely nothing for us, I am not even sure Poilievre elected will change anything. Yeah, I believe in Polievre and think he is different than Doug Ford and Boris Johnson who are fake populists. But if he were to get elected, would he be beholden to us or the "centrist" voters that got him elected? In other words, would he actually push right wing policy forward or become a "centrist" like Ford so he can get re-elected?

For me personally. I don't care about election results anymore. I am focusing on increasing my networth so hopefully by the time I am 40 if this country didn't change course, I can pack my bags and leave to another country.

The Economy Is Not Doing Bad But The Same Issues Remain That Existed Under Trudeau

TSX is doing better than American markets. Jobs report better than American one. Housing market is cooling versus rising problems in many big US States.

But despite this and people on Reddit generally celebrating this as a victory, in reality nothing is really changing. Canada continues to suffer from weak labor productivity and lagging business investment (not just from US but worldwide). Unemployment and especially youth unemployment is much higher than US. This has been outlined in RBC's report last month.

https://www.rbc.com/en/economics/financial-markets-monthly/cyclical-rebound-in-canada-and-structural-strength-in-the-u-s/

So the economy is not doing bad. Meaning it is not getting worse. But it is also not getting better than Trudeau's economy. Yet, dumbfuck Canadians on social media are celebrating. They were ready to vote Trudeau out. He resigns. Carney doesn't change anything and they celebrate just because we are not doing worse.

Cuck mentality.
