Immediate resignation after 4 days employed

I started this new job 4 days ago and I want to resign already. No training yet.

This is what's stipulated in my contract regarding resignation:

"If you resign, you have to inform the Company at least thirty (30) days before the effectivity of your resignation. Failure to do so shall entitle the Company to recover liquidated damages equivalent to your salary corresponding to the number of notice days which were not observed but shall not be more than 30 days worth of salary. The aforesaid liquidated damages shall be deducted from any and all sums due to you, including salaries for actual hours worked, unused but accrued leaves and other monetary benefits/rewards already earned as of the date of effectivity of your resignation from the Company. The amount deducted as liquidated damages for non-observance of the notice requirement shall be without prejudice to the right of the Company to recover additional damages for any other breach or violation of this employment contract."

Since I only worked 4 days, I understand if I do not receive any final pay.

But is it possible for the Company to sue me and recover payment for the remaining days I did not render?

TYIA.

PS. I'm not seeking unsolicited advice on how to be resilient at new job etc. I've already decided and I have my reasons. I would appreciate if you have answers related to my question only. Thanks!

If I resign before my first payroll, will it reflect in my SSS?

Hello! I recently started at a new company and I feel that I underestimated how much the commute and night shift would affect me. In short, it's not a good fit for me.

If I resign po ba before my first payroll, will it be reflected sa SSS ko?

TYIA.

Please help me decide if I should resign from this big company.

I recently started at a MNC company 2 weeks ago pa lang. I haven't received salary yet. No formal training yet.

-Mid shift, rotating shifts ranging from 1PM to 4PM start. Quickly realizing this shift is not for me.

-Commute is 1.5 hours, depende pa sa traffic

-only 3k increase from my previous salary but accepted it because of the company prestige (I know, this is on me) and also I already resigned sa prev job because of the workload

-Culture shock, sobrang higpit. Ang daming trackers na literally every move or task should be recorded.

-RTO 3x per week. I came from a 1x RTO per week and can't stand the office noise and constant daldalan. No offense, the environment feels like a typical BPO company na naglalakad lakad ang managers.

-Everyday meetings or huddles. We already RTO 3x a week and the team meetings are everyday, kaloka

-The systems are so outdated

-No holidays (they did not mention this to me during the interview). But double pay and you need to take a PTO if you really dont want to work.

I realize should've thought more about accepting this. Considering the increase, I think di talaga worth it. Nanghihinayang ako because of the company prestige, and the people in the team have been very nice to me.

Can I resign immediately? Nothing in the contract says I have a bond or anything to pay naman.

I would appreciate some insights and upvotes for visibility. 😢

Received a job offer today but...

I'm having second thoughts? Mind you I really prayed for this JO and company.

Am I just getting cold feet?

Suddenly I feel anxious about leaving my current company even if I really wanted to get out already.

Question regarding salary, last day, final pay pls

If my last working day falls on a 15th (weekday) and our salary is every 15th and 30th, do I still get salary on my last day (15th)?

Or included na sa final pay yung salary ko na yun?

Thank you in advance 🩵

How do you research market value for the role? Do you message people on LinkedIn who has the same role?

Hello everyone! Hope you can help me.

I'm still a bit confused when people say "research the market value for the role you're applying for/role you have"

I do go to Indeed or Glassdoor to get an idea, but I'm not sure if those are accurate.

How do you really research this stuff?

I'm thinking of searching the role on LinkedIn and message people who have the same role, and ask them directly. But can we actually do that?

Dont want to resign without backup but 60 days notice is driving away prospective employers

Title. Please help.

Please influence or de-influence me. I'm thinking if I should just proceed with resigning without backup.

Does anyone here have the same experience and how did you deal with it?
