I work 2nd shift, meaning i get off at 11pm- I have two people that usually come in behind me and I had mentioned to one of them about the parking situation in which I had told them since they come in behind me on the weekdays to be here at 10:30 so I could at least get home and have a parking spot.
They are chill with it-
Last night, my other coworker came in for me and he gets here a little bit after 11 but still nonetheless considering that I’m driving 40 minutes for this job only to get home and not have a parking spot. I’d have to ride around until someone leaves-
Would it be wrong to ask management or to discuss management this situation considering that I’ve never asked anything from them and I think that maybe if we work something out regarding getting off 10:30, instead of 11-
Obviously, I’ve mentioned this situation to both people who come in for third shift, and can understand getting here on time and slightly earlier- but considering that I’m having to go home and ride around until someone leaves-
ik some people on here will want to be like “change jobs.” thats a you issue- i want to here other people stuff

since i live i live in charlotte-
does anyone know if an airbag dash light being on will cause me to fail-
its been on a while but its approaching that time and now im curious-

This is mostly for NC mechanics but open to anyone,
i drive a 2011 kia soul, all seat beats still work, but i have inspection coming up and the passanger seatbelt indicator stays on, no matter what-
obviously my airbag one that senses someone still works-
but will me having that dashlight on make me fail if all seatbelts- properly clips and the airbag sensor still works?

i’m coming here to ask the question of if the week before you guys get your period if you seem to get an irritation/annoyance with a person you are with-
ive noticed a repeating pattern of about a week before my period- everything about them annoys me, and or i find cringey, or don’t find them attractive-
obviously they have habits that they get defensive about, in which case sometimes they do thank me for mentioning them, or try to clarify or communicate on whatever.
after that week, everything is fine, like im in love blah blah type of thing- laughing cutting up- but that week on top of anxiety and cptsd doesnt combine well

I recently applied/ interviewed with publix and they made it seem like they wanted you to build your way up but like didn’t have any full time, and wasn’t going to offer full time for any cashiers- I am an adult, i currently work hotel stuff- looking to find something full time (current one is full time) - (yes ive been applying-) obviously trying to find something closer to arboretum because my current job is in monroe- and i get off late, but also trying to find a place that allows me off tuesday/Wednesday- but available any time besides-
I really wanted the public job, Management seemed really chill but was so disappointed when they wouldn’t or said that the position i wanted was only part time and that i could “take” other peoples hours and cross train but obviously i need money for groceries and bills
anyone have any advice? is this normal for stores?
is anyone hiring for maybe $16 an hour?
