At what point do I stop guilting every flat surface?

My intention was to add the odd splash of gold throughout my flat, in each room to pull them all together.... and then I covered the toilet in gold leaf, then the bath panel, then sewed a custom shower curtain, and since then I have lived with flecks of gold leaf everywhere (I shimmer constantly)

AITA for requesting a retailer provide me with all parts of an order I paid for?

Just wabted to make sure I'm not being an ass!

I am looking for people's opinions on a small related matter that I have found myself in.

My current homelab set up (running on a Lenovo Thinkcenter M920x tiny, 8GB Ram, 256GB SSD) has been needing to be replaced for some time and I finally bit the bullet and got myself a couple of similar spec'd mini PC but with 32GB RAM and more storage options (a couple of HP EliteDesk 800 G4s)

I planned on upgrading one of the unit to have wifi 6 capability and bought the upgrade module from the same sellor on ebay. Each of the mini PC's came with a wifi adapter already. My problem is that they took it upon themselves to fit the adapter, which is fine and I am greatful to them for doing this, but they then removed the original wifi adapter before sending it to me.

I thanked them for their kindness in installing the wifi 6 module, but highlighted that I had not agreed to them keeping the other wifi adapter. I planned on using that adapter on the Thinkcenter which needs an adapter.

They are refusing to see that they have done anything wrong and have taken an exception to the resulting feedback and ire.

This is not the first time I have encountered tech suppliers removing pc parts from pcs I have purchased, assuming "I would have no need of the parts". Is this an acceptable behaviour, and I'm just being an ass or am I justified to be annoyed about this (and when do I let my broken, autistic, twisted mind loose on them?)?

side note: Ive been homelabing for arounf 10 years now but have not socialised much about it, so at the persistance of my parents who are bored of not understanding what I am talking about, I am looking to geek out with people who will hopefully understand me.

PiHole shows 330 requests made from brave browser to its update address

Does anyone know why brave browser makes so many calls home to check for updates and similar? My pihole recorded over 300 requests made to go-updater.brave.com yesterday on my PC alone. In total brave browser made 10,000 requests to various brave.com related sites. No other browser does the and find it off putting to be honest.
