Hi everyone! Just curious — how many organizations or companies are still actively using Microsoft Access today? 🤔

I’ve been exploring MS Access recently for database and inventory management systems, and I’m wondering how widely it’s still being used in 2026.

For those currently using it:
• What do you mainly use it for?
• Is it still effective for your organization?
• Have you migrated to newer systems like Power Apps or SQL-based platforms?
• What are the advantages and limitations you’ve experienced?

Would love to hear your experiences and insights. Thanks!

New to Power Apps – Looking for Inventory Template Suggestions

I’m new to Microsoft Power Apps, so apologies in advance if this is a basic question. 😅

I wanted to ask if there’s a way to find ready-made inventory templates or sample apps created in Power Apps. I’m currently exploring it for inventory management and would love to learn from existing setups.

Hi everyone, can someone help me identify the possible reason for this issue?

I have a PDF file that opens normally on my local computer. However, once I place/upload the same file on our network server, it no longer opens and shows this error in Adobe Acrobat:

“There was an error opening this document. Access denied.”

Our storage server is accessible through the office network or via VPN when working remotely.

Possible things I’m thinking about:

  • File permission/restriction on the network folder
  • Server security settings or antivirus blocking the file
  • Read/write access issue
  • File path or mapped drive problem
  • Adobe protected mode/security settings
  • The file may be marked as blocked after transfer
  • Possible issue or restriction on the server itself

Is there a possible reason the server may have an issue causing the file to be inaccessible? Has anyone encountered this before? Any suggestions on what to check or fix would be appreciated.
