Found this beautiful snake having a nom on some eggs

Never have seen this rat snake before. I am going to check injuries and let it go somewhere it won't get attacked by my turkeys and donkey.

Yesterday I showed how many shrimp I graded. Today I am here to show some high grades.

Last picture is some of them eating leftover food. The water is fine just need to scrap the algae off the glass.

All hail the shrimp 🦐

Decided to grade SOME of my shrimp today

HOW DO I HAVE SO MANY?! I bless you all to have this many shrimp.

Last pic is when I found a hiding spot... there are still many left in the tank.

[I AM NOT COMPLAINING! PLEASE SHRIMP LORD DONT PUNISH ME, I AM HAPPY WITH MY CHILDREN]

I spent 1h and 30m grading them, then I gave up on trying to get them all.

Recommendations for 24h day-night cycle light

I have heard that hygger lights are good, but I don't know. I want a light with a natural 24h lighting, I have no real budget, I want a light that wont brake after a year, oh and the top of my terrarium is 37 inches long and 16 inches wide.

Thank you for the help!

Bashing my head into a wall do to my indecisiveness, over my first snake. I need help!

I have experience with snakes, I have saved and relocated many rat and corn snakes before. I am not afraid of being bit. My max size enclosure is 5f. I just can't decide on the snake!

So dear reddit, here is what I can't decide on.

Cape house snake, I can't find a lot of guides on them let me know if you have any. Also do your like to be held?

Corn snake, the size may be a problem, but there are a lot of guides available.

Mexican black king snake, If you have or had one please tell me what it is like. Do they like to be handled in your experience?

Ball python, I want to give the baby the right things it needs, I do have fish tanks in my house so the humidity is fine. I do know they like to not eat.

Garter snake, I hear that they don't like being held or handled.

Feel free to add your own reddit!

also here is what I am looking for:

a snake that is okay with being held

the snake cant be bigger then 5f

I don't have to sell my soul to find its food

and easy enough to care for

I am grateful for you reading this, and helping with my indecisiveness!
