Rank These One Piece Grails by Future Value/Prestige

Curious where the community stands on this from a long term collector perspective

Rank these cards based on what you think future collectors (one peice fans, Pokemon collectors entering the hobby, new TCG fans, investors, etc) will want the MOST years from now and which you think will hold the highest value

1.) G5 Manga Luffy (OP05)

2.) Gold Luffy SP (OP11)

3.) Silver Luffy SP (OP11)

4.) Red Manga Luffy (OP13)

5.) G2 Manga Luffy (PRB02)

6.) Regular OP13 Manga Luffy (OP13)

7.) Shanks Manga (OP01)

8.) Gold Roger Manga (OP09)

9.) Luffy Emperors Manga (OP09)

10.) Luffy SnakeMan Manga (OP11)

11.) Oda Sig Luffy

idc about current prices, more about longterm collector demand, iconic status, scarcity, art, nostalgia, etc

Would love to see everyone’s rankings and reasoning. Trying to get an idea of where the communitys head is at for the future of One Piece collecting and investing.

One Piece TCG Friday - What are you ripping / buying tonight or this weekend?

Curious what everyone’s doing tonight heading into the weekend.

Are you:

- Ripping any sealed for fun?

- Picking up any slabs you’ve been eyeing?

- buying any singles you think might go up?

- buying sealed as a long-term play?

Market seems to still be moving fast, hard to keep track of everything

Drop your plans below!

What are you eyeing tonight specifically, and are you buying it, ripping it, or holding off?

How Do Extreme Pull Rates Impact Sealed Box Prices Long-Term?

If OP-13 Red Manga is truly 1 per 20 cases (~1 per 240 boxes), how does that realistically impact long-term sealed box prices and demand?

Are there any other TCG sets with chase cards this rare that we can actually compare long-term sealed price behavior to?

I also struggle with the idea that people would willingly pay $2,000+ for a sealed box with something like a ~1/200 shot at the top chase, but I’m open to being wrong here.

Would love to hear counter arguments or real examples from other markets where this kind of pull rate still supported high sealed prices.

The goal isn't to buy; it’s to make being a scalper as inconvenient and frustrating as possible. Here is the blueprint:

  1. The Bait: Message local scalpers on FB Marketplace or OfferUp. Express massive interest in a "big" haul something in the $800–$1,200 range. It’s high enough to make them see dollar signs, but not so high that it looks like a total scam.

  2. The Setup: Let them choose the time and the place. Usually a Starbucks or a grocery store parking lot. Tell them you’re "on your way" and "so stoked to finally find these."

  3. The String-Along: Once they message you saying they’ve arrived, start the clock.

• “Just pulled off the freeway, traffic is a nightmare!”

• “Sorry, can’t find a spot, hang tight for 5 more minutes.”

• “Almost there, just grabbing cash from the ATM!”

  1. The Finale: Keep them waiting as long as possible. When they finally lose their patience and start getting aggressive? Hit them with a random funny meme or feet pic and block them.

If enough of us do this, these people won't just be sitting on unsold inventory, they’ll be wasting hours of their lives sitting in parking lots for nothing. If we can't make the product affordable, we can at least make the hustle miserable.

EDIT:

Alot of angry scalpers in the comments mad they have to waste even more time waiting in the parking lot when they find out people like me are wasting their time, after they’ve already wasted all night waiting in line for product 🤣🤣

Now you have to live in fear that the buyer might be wasting your time..

I believe religion was created by people as a tool to control behavior and maintain order, especially in chaotic times when there weren’t structured laws or systems in place.

it likely helped unify groups and discourage harmful behavior through agreed upon rules like prohibitions against killing or stealing.

Stop treating ancient, man-made scriptures like they’re beyond question. They were written by people, people with POWER & INFLUENCE..

It’s strange how we demand logic and evidence in every aspect of modern life, but when it comes to religion, we’re expected to shut that off and just believe.

We’ve evolved enough to question everything, yet somehow, we’re still convinced to accept claims we can never see, test, or prove… just because we’re told to.

They’re all Fake, All Lies, Wake Up Sheep..

Is $5400 for a case of OP11 still worth investing in or is it too risky / money better put somewhere else?

What do you all think is the long-term potential of this set?

I almost feel like it’s better worth to get the extra $1-1.5k and get an OP-13 case instead..

Curious to hear your opinions.

I just sold some Pokemon Japanese trading card product for around ~$3k and im having issues getting the shipping label because their Zip / Postal Code field is blank.

I want to make sure i’m protected as a seller and there’s no issues, and i don’t get scammed

Is this normal for Hong Kong addresses to have no Zip Code?

What should I do?
