Men: how much do you weigh?

If I Google the average weight of an adult male in this country, the answer is 86kg (about 13 ½ stone). This is roughly what I weigh, but looking around when I'm out and about I find it very hard to believe that anywhere near half the guys I see weigh less than me. Do you think this data is out of date or am I just overestimating how much people weigh?

Can you fix fallen astragal bars on windows & is their detachment a sign of bigger problems?

I hope I've got the terminology right but to be clear, I'm talking about the plastic bars that make modern windows look like multiple panes when they're actually one big double glazed unit.

I've seen a house where several south facing windows have the dividing bars hanging off or missing, both externally and within the sealed units. There are others that have obviously blown (condensation between the panes). Can the bars be replaced (presumably not in the case of the ones within the units) and does the fact that they have fallen off suggest anything about the integrity of the glazing unit?

How do you warm up your knees before squats?

Unfortunately my knees are made of glass, and I find myself aborting about 40% of my squat sessions due to excruciating pain somewhere under my knee cap. Sometimes I manage to warm them up sufficiently, but I've never managed to figure out what movements work best. I actually really like squats, when I can actually do them, so I'm looking for suggestions of how to get them working properly. Please help!

Edit - forgot to mention that I've just got a small garage gym set up (power cage) so no access to bikes/stair-climbers etc. I've also only got about 45 mins for the full workout so warm-up can't really take more than about 10 mins ideally.

What is happening to our clothes?

Brown/grey stains keep appearing on our clothes, in some cases ruining them completely. No amount of extra washing or applying destaining products shifts the stains once they're there. Could there be an issue with our washing machine? If so, how do we diagnose and fix it? It's only about 3 years old.

Why has this house gone up by 140k in 2.5 years?

I've been staring at this listing all morning and can't work out why they're asking so much. According to the previous sold data they bought it for 685 in Dec '23 and unless I'm missing something enormous, they've done nothing to the house other than change some light fittings and paint a couple of walls.

I'm just annoyed as the HPI calculator/Rightmove estimates are 695-720, which I could almost afford! No point calling them up if they want 825 though is there 😓

How long did it take you to find your forever home?

My wife had been keeping an eye on Rightmove for a while as we'd like to up-size. Last September she finally spotted something she liked, so we put our house up for sale and expressed an interest. Sadly the house we liked sold before we could sell, and in all the time since then only a handful of houses have come onto the market in the price bracket we're aiming for, and they've all had deal-breaker issues (mainly plot-related rather than the houses themselves). I don't understand why but there's a big £100k gap in the local market between "too small" and "too expensive".

Now I've got house-hunt fatigue and I just want to pull the sign down and stop looking, but worried the perfect house will pop up as soon as we do so. Can anyone give me a story of how their version of this process was worth it in the end?

Based on the biker's reaction, what colour would you say their light was?

In case not enough pixels make it through the upload, the gesture was the "closed fist up and down" one. A friendly hello, I'm sure.
