I’m having the most fun creating this watercolour deck. I’ve completed the major arcana and I’ve started on the wands but I’m pondering on the back print of the cards.
How the hell does one choose the design for the back of the cards. I can’t seem to come up with a concept. Any ideas?
I’m busy doing a series of animals native to where I live for a festival in November. My plan is to scan them and make greeting cards and sell prints. Here is my first froggo of the series I need to add some highlights but she’s almost done.

I’m doing a mystical frog tarot deck I thought I’d only post the major arcana designs and keep the suits a surprise but this one was just so enjoyable to make and finish I just had to share.

Last week we had to unexpectedly say goodbye to Patrick. I swear he still had puppy eyes at 10 years old. He was the sweetest most cuddly dog I have ever come across and he will be sorely missed.
He was great at howling and finding a spot on the couch that was seemingly impossible to get into.
He was a cocky boy always the first to bark and scratch the forest floor up to get his scent everywhere. but he was also a big sensitive baby who would jump at a falling leaf. Any mouse or critter in the house or garden he never killed them. He always tried to befriend them. One occasion he gently (and repeatedly) brought in a baby tortoise that was traipsing in our yard.
The final Major Arcana card 😭 going to start the suits soon still cooking up ideas for those.
