Is this normal?

We usually have green frogs or brown toads. This one seems to be both. Super curious if this is normal or a half breed.

Can anyone identify this frog for me?

Some months ago (around Christmas time) my best friend was on a trip in Cambodia and sent me a video of the most perfect frog I have ever seen. For some reason I can't upload the video, so I can only post these shaky screenshots, sorry about the quality.
Can anyone tell me what frog this is exactly? I think it's absolutely perfect, just look at its feet and face 😭

What do i feed froglets?

I have some froglets that have just grown arms and legs and are starting to leave the water. They've only been eating algae and some cooked lettuce so far.

I don't have any fruit flies or other small feeder insects. I do have lots of tiny ants. Can froglets safely eat ants, or what else can I feed them at this stage?

Also, does anyone have general care tips? I want to give them the best chance to grow and stay healthy, so I'd appreciate any advice on caring for them as they develop.

Frogs and toads were trapped in my mum's old well in Sicily, so I built them an escape ladder. Today the biggest toad made it to the top.

My mum lives in Sicily and I was visiting her a few weeks ago when I heard noise coming from an old water well in her courtyard (photos 1 and 2). The well isn't in use anymore. It's about 3 metres deep, roughly 4 by 6 metres at the bottom, with just a small puddle left in it (photo 3). When I opened the well, I noticed some frogs and toads around the water puddle. So I figured the frogs and toads were falling in, probably attracted by the water and the buffet of mosquitoes and other bugs that breed in there, and then couldn't get back out because the walls are smooth and far too steep to climb.

So I tried to come up with an idea to rescue them.

First attempt: I lowered an empty bucket on a rope, hoping they'd hop in so I could hoist them up. They were not impressed. Nobody climbed in. Besides that, because I don't live there, I figured this wouldn't be a permanent solution either.

So I got to plan B: build them a ladder.

I gathered some scrap wood in a wheelbarrow (photo 4) and screwed short crossbars onto a long plank, spaced closely enough for small legs. Then I lowered it into the well at an angle so it runs from the puddle up to the rim, where there is a small indentation for them to climb out (photos 5 and 6).

After two days I spotted the first frogs and toads sitting on the bottom rungs (photo 7).

I left Sicily three days after I built the ladder, but returned last week because of the ten-year anniversary of my mother's wedding.

Because I was curious if the ladder worked, I reopened the well, and to my absolute joy, this absolute unit of a fella climbed the whole thing and was sitting at the top, just one hop from freedom (photos 8 and 9).

The ladder stays in permanently, so anyone who falls in can now climb out on their own. Mission accomplished🥳🐸

New frog

Okay here’s the story, I’ve always had animals im like a zoo. I have 3 cats, 2 mice, 5 African dwarf frogs, and 1 hamster. My friend wanted to “save” one of those desk pets and she got a pac man frog which is now apart of my zoo. I usually shop a pet co and I need more of a list or needs this lil Newport needs. All I know is 10+ tank, water dish, over head clutter, deep substrate, uvb and heat lamp. But I have no idea what is safe and what isn’t safe. SOS please help I’m going tomorrow afternoon to get stuff as I feel bad for having him in this tiny cage. ALSO wtf do I feed him, he is too tiny for crickets

You can look for frogs digitally! On a PC or a console!

Find My Frogs is the first hidden object game featuring frogs (or at least the first one to get this popular). Your task is to travel through a fairytale village and find all the frogs. And that’s pretty much it!

There are no dialogues or lines of text -just animated frogs in their natural habitat. It’s a great option if you have to stay indoors and can’t go out to a forest to look for real frogs.

It’s an indie game created by a 2 people: a programmer and an artist who hand-painted all the frogs in the game and is a huge frog fan herself!

These aren't real frogs, tho, so sorry for the off-topic post... but maybe someone will find this digital version interesting! :) And uh... sorry for my bare hands!!
