Saw the title and that it was $6, and immediately knew it was a must have

It's a Califone 2485c, the issue I've seen is the little pegs aren't spinning for the cassette to play. The big belt loop is spinning fine but the small one behind it isn't moving. Could that cause the player to eat tapes? I'm completely new to fixing these and I'd like to not have my players become trashed, any help on troubleshooting / fixing this thing would be so greatly appreciated

Found on eBay for $20! I just found out about DT last month and have been in love since, had to start with my favorite album so far. Definitely one of the grails I'll hold onto until the day I die

I was planning on making another full album but ran out of inspiration so instead of letting the songs I finished rot I figured releasing them would be better! This project isn't one for production or "good" music, just having fun recording stuff that sounds good to me.

I can find no info about it online. I got to chat with the store Co-owner who found it, he said he got it at a thrift store and apart from watching it and knowing what's on the tape he also has no clue on the history of this tape. It's so neat to find media that's not available anywhere on the Internet

3 for $2! Pretty hit or miss for me personally but you can't go wrong with extra tapes

I've been searching for a copy of Sleepdepth's Reality on cassette. The Bandcamp says they're still stocked but after talking to the artist directly they are infact sold out and he does not know where I can acquire one. If anyone has any lead on where I can find a copy or to someone who would be willing to sell theirs it is more than appreciated. Thank you music reddit

They were so good, I wasn't able to grab a setlist unfortunately but I was able to get my cassette signed by Kitty and Sam! Such amazing people

I don't really have a style or genre, I like anything as long as it's good noise. Thanks to a couple shops near me I've gotten my hands on a few grails in my book :)
