Mono??

Hi all! I (21F) just tested positive for EBV again..? I first tested positive in Dec 2024, and again now Aug 2026. My doctors are saying it’s an acute affection due to my antibody results. I’m just so confused because my symptoms don’t feel like mono. About a month ago I was throwing up due to CHS and have been dizzy and headaches ever since. No fatigue, inflamed lymph nodes, or sore throat. I went away for 10 days and felt significantly better, but once I got home and had a lazy day I’m right back to where I was. I’m not saying I don’t have mono, but should I be worried this is something else in addition? I’ve just never heard of these symptoms before and it also doesn’t make sense that I was better when I was active. I feel like my head is going to explode, but it’s definitely worse when I’m standing up. My heart races when I stand up at first too. I have to go back to college soon and I just don’t want anything serious that could be underlying to go undetected.

Dizziness

21F, smoked marijuana carts for about 6 months until a week ago. I haven’t smoked in 2 weeks, everything else is improving - appetite, nausea, etc. I have been dizzy for 2 weeks now and nothing is helping me. Any tips or remedies to stop it? I'm miserable and can't even lay down without being dizzy. Im not having diarrhea but I’m still taking probiotics, ginger, Kefir, and I tried bovine but nothing seems to be improving my symptom. I went to the doctor last week and they didn’t want to do bloodwork because they said I would pass out, but BP was normal. I understand I need to be patient but I was just wondering if this is normal and if there’s something I could do about it. I have a trip on Thursday (it’s Monday) and I really need to show some improvement to hold on to hope that I’ll be fine. Should I go to the ER? What could they even do for me? I understand that this could be attributed to withdrawal but I’m not getting any better if anything now I get headaches more frequently.

Debbie Season 5-6 is Unbearable

***POSSIBLE SPOILER!!
Maybe I’m just a hater but I really wish Fiona would make Debbie be financially responsible for herself after having the baby. It irks me how she’s so nasty to Fiona yet she’s living under her roof and living off of her. I’m only on s6, so I’m hoping she does. I’m really so irked by her and it’s making me want to stop

BC on vacation

So idk what I did earlier this month but I’ve had my period for now 3 weeks which sucks, but I was supposed to get it today (not weeks ago). I’m worried now because if my cycle was “normal”, I wouldn’t have gotten it on vacation.

Let’s say if I do get it on vacation, is there anything I could do to get rid of it? I don’t use tampons and last time I traveled on a plane (3 years ago) I got it 2-3 days after arriving, but at that time I was skipping my placebo so that could be it too.

Day 4

Back again!!! Gonna keep giving updates until I feel close to 100%. If anyone’s wondering: I’m 21F, smoked carts for 6 months and here I am. I think a lot of my experience will be accelerated compared to others because of the short duration I smoked for (or at least I’m hoping thats the case for me).

Still not a functioning member of society again but that’s okay, I’m lucky enough to be in a position where I could take it easy until then. I’m okay for the most part. I got nauseous this morning after eating, but I was able to eat 2 chicken fingers and a meatball without throwing up (did give me diarrhea - TMI). Very dizzy still, but I’m trying to eat as much “healthy” food as possible and I’m drinking water and gatorlyte still but nothing is really helping me there

As for withdrawal symptoms, I wake up sweating through my clothes and I have a hard time going to bed. Additionally, I felt so restless and kind of empty??? Almost like my body was yearning for weed lol, but it’s not even an option to me in my head so I didn’t even think about picking up my pen.

Day 3

Hey guys - me again! Today is the first day I haven’t thrown up, and, at the time I’m making this, it’s 24h since my last time vomiting! I know it sucks going thru it but once ur on the other side of it, it’s truly a good feeling. Taking today to still rest and rehydrate. Yesterday I ate Cheerios, broth and rice, and Italian bread. Today maybe I’ll eat something of more nutritional value, but mainly sports drinks to get my electrolytes back. Not out of the woods yet and I’m not doing anything to endanger my progress, but honestly I’m encouraged and motivated.

Hyperemesis Phase - Day 2

Hello all. I’m currently on day 2 of the hyperemesis phase of CHS, and omg I thought I was done yesterday. I felt fine last night but this morning was hell. I haven’t thrown up in an hour but I’m still nauseous (probs will throw up lol). Need this to be over. I’m drinking gatorlyte in between vomits in hopes that some electrolytes stay in me

Jinxed Myself

Hey all, I posted yesterday but man I spoke too soon. Yesterday I guess was the first phase. I thought I was gonna bypass the hyperemesis but to my dismay I didn’t. I’ve thrown up 4 times within 2 hours, and I know there’s nothing more that can be done about the vomiting but this just sucks. I’m so angry at myself but you live and you learn. Haven’t had weed in over 24h, so I’m hoping this doesn’t last long. Trying to sip water so that I’m not just dry heaving but this all just sucks

Early Stage

Hey everyone! I was diagnosed with CHS about 5 or so years ago. For the first two years, I stayed away from weed entirely. Within the past 6 months, I started owning carts again and my symptoms are back, but I’m not vomiting (or at least yet) and really the only thing I noticed is the lack of appetite and occasional abdominal and lower back pain. I’m so upset with myself that I smoked to this point again, but I’m glad I recognize what it is and I know I have to stop smoking. It just sucks because I was going to take a t break when I’m on vacation and not to sound like that person but I wish I could smoke once more, but I’m scared from 5 years ago so no lol. I think I’m gonna smoke on the 13 (I leave on 23), but it’s such a bittersweet feeling for me bc I’m sad that I can’t smoke for a bit and I’m upset that I got to this point, but at least I recognize what it is and how to deal with it from here. I really haven’t eaten much today, just some Cheerios. I ordered soup from a Chinese restaurant but it’s too salty lol (and I also don’t think I can stomach it) but I did have some of the meat from a wonton. I’ve been trying to drink a lot of water and I’m trying to balance the good and the bad about this.

A lot of my friends are major stoners and it (for lack of better words) bothers me that they can smoke without a problem, yet here I am. I think of it as a blessing and a curse because without it, I’d probably smoke myself to death and destruction.

If anyone has any tips about the Prodromal phase or about anything I mentioned above please let me know. I want to be okay for my trip and get back to healthy before then

Less Shields on the Board??

Maybe it’s just be but I feel like recently I can never land on a shield. I usually have a little over 400 dice when i start playing so it’s not like I’m only rolling like 5 times. This game is just getting annoying honestly.
