Should I upgrade from a Ryzen 5 5500 to a Ryzen 7 5700X3D?
I bought this pre-built PC three years ago(I was still a rookie and didn't know what needed to be done, so I hadn't wanted to take the risk of building it myself.), and it has served me well until now, but I’ve been thinking about upgrading for a while. Sorry I forgot to list the components, here they are: Ryzen 5 5500, Nvidia 4060 Ti, 32GB of Crucial RAM, TEAM TM8FPD001T SSD, PRIME B450M-A II motherboard, and an Itek Desert 650W PSU.
I mainly play CPU-intensive games like BeamNG.drive, Minecraft, and Assetto Corsa, but I also play GPU-intensive titles like RDR2, GTA V, and Subnautica 2. On top of that, I occasionally do live streaming and video editing, and some schoolwork requires heavy CPU usage like blender. My only problem is that I can't find the CPU I want for under €200, and I’d also need a new CPU cooler—though I’m not sure which one to get (preferably a tower-style cooler). Do you have any advice on what I should do?
