Confused between taking a partial drop in Delhi or a full drop at home for CUET 2027

I'm really confused about what I should do with my college situation right now and could use some honest, practical advice.

I'm from Maharashtra. I spent around 3 years preparing for NEET, but I've now decided that medicine isn't what I want to pursue. I'm trying to restart and figure out what career/college path actually makes sense for me.

Right now I have two options:

Option 1 — Take a partial drop in Delhi

Just because I only gave english and gat my options are limited so I can't get psychology this year sadly because of wrong subject combination

I have an option to take admission in a B.Voc course in aud Delhi and move there for college. Alongside my degree, I would prepare for CUET 2027 and try again for the course psychology college I actually want. If I get a better option through CUET next year, I could switch.

The advantage is that I'd have an actual college, a routine, people around me and a completely new environment instead of sitting at home preparing again.

The major disadvantage is money. I'd have to pay for PG/food, travel, etc., and my family's finances are not tht much good I'm from middle class family I don't want to put them under unnecessary financial pressure.

Option 2 — Take a full drop at home

I could stay at home in Maharashtra for another year, prepare properly for CUET 2027, and also apply to colleges in Pune as a backup.

Financially, this makes much more sense. I'd have more time to prepare and wouldn't have the additional Delhi living expenses.

But this is where I'm really scared.

My previous NEET drop years were honestly very bad for me. I struggled with consistency, motivation and actually making the most of the time I had. Because of that experience, I'm genuinely scared that taking another full drop and staying at home could put me back into the same cycle.

So even though a full drop looks better on paper financially, I don't know if it's actually the right environment for me.

And that's why I'm considering the partial drop. I'm wondering whether having a college, routine and some independence would help me stay productive while preparing for CUET.

At the same time, I'm scared of moving to Delhi and then struggling financially, especially when I'm not even 100% sure what my final college/course will be next year.

So basically I'm stuck between:

Delhi → B.Voc + partial drop + new environment + college structure, but expensive

vs.

Home → full drop + CUET preparation + Pune applications + financially safer, but I'm scared of repeating my previous drop-year experience

I'm genuinely hella confused right now 😭 and I don't know which risk is better to take.

If you've taken a partial drop, full drop, or had a similar experience after a bad drop year, what would you do in my situation?

Would taking a partial drop actually be worth the extra expense, or would it be smarter to stay home and give CUET one proper attempt?

I'm looking for honest advice, especially from people who have actually experienced either option. Please consider the financial side, mental/academic environment, and long-term career prospects, rather than just saying "don't waste another year."

Title: BA Psychology at SPPU — any chance of spot/vacancy admission after Round 2?

Hi, I’m looking for admission in BA Psychology under SPPU for 2026–27.

As far as I know, the regular admission rounds have already been completed. I wanted to ask:

Does SPPU/its affiliated colleges conduct spot/vacancy

rounds for BA Psychology after the regular rounds?

Is there any possibility of getting admission if seats are still vacant?

Has anyone here got admission through a spot/vacancy round in August in previous years?

If yes, what should I do/contact right now?

I’m specifically looking for regular BA Psychology, not distance/open learning.

Any information from current students or people who went through the 2025/26 admission process would really help. 🙏 It's urgent for me please help !!!

Title: AUD Orientation & Physical Verification

> Is physical verification conducted on the orientation day or on a separate date? I’m an outstation student, so travelling to Delhi twice would be difficult. Is orientation mandatory for keeping my admission? Also, I’m waiting for another college’s 3rd/4th round, so do I need to attend regular classes from the beginning? Any current AUD students who know? 🙏

Help!! Does anyone have AUD Delhi admission office contact number? I need to urgently

I was selected in AUD’s first round, for certain courses but my admission was provisional due to a document verification issue (caste certificate and Class 12 marksheet). The merit list was released on 27 July, but I found out about it on 30 July as I was out of station. I immediately sent the required documents through email and tried contacting the admission team multiple times, but unfortunately, my emails failed and the phone numbers were either unreachable or busy it was till 1 pm of 30 July I sent emails within that time time period and also after that I've been trying constantly from 30 July but no response from their side

My portal still shows “Shortlisted” and has not been cancelled. I want to know if I am still eligible for the upcoming rounds or if I am completely out of the admission process. I had been shortlisted for 3 out of 5 courses, but I could not complete the fee payment due to this verification issue.also if is there any chance for getting anothr. 2 courses in 2nd round individually ???

Also if anyone have aud contact numbers that actually work if please help me...it's so urgent
