Vail Resorts on Monday announced that it plans to complete its upcoming major lift improvements at Park City Mountain by the 2027-28 ski season.

The company will replace the Silverlode lift with the first eight-passenger detachable chairlift in Vail Resorts’ U.S. network. It also plans to replace the Eagle and Eaglet lifts with a new six-passenger detachable chairlift and complete a full retrofit of the Crescent lift. 

Park City High School announced that, despite ongoing construction on its campus, the school will host a home football game at Dozier Field this Friday night against Salem Hills. Gates open at 6 p.m, and kickoff is at 7 p.m

A peak-day ticket at Park City Mountain will cost $369 this winter, while Deer Valley will charge $349 — prices that would have seemed almost unthinkable a decade ago.

In other words, a skier showing up for a peak day at Park City Mountain will spend nearly $400 before lunch, rentals, parking or a post-skiing drink.

Now it’s Park City’s turn to be “Larger than Life.” Vail Resorts is rolling out new marketing strategies at select North American resorts ahead of the 2026-2027 winter season

I’ve filled out online contact forms for both DPS and DSPD to let them know - but given current wildfires in the state hopefully someone closer can expedite it being resolved / secured so people who need it can register etc.
