I direct sowed dwarf sunflowers around two weeks ago into my garden and they were doing very good until all of them had their leaves eaten leaving only the stems. None of the many other plants I put in the garden bed are affected ( I am guessing because they were planted early and had time to mature(?) ). I want to try again since I think there is still time but I don't want a repeat of the tragedy. Should I try starting them in a container? Or apply something? I don't want none-organic since I have leafy greens nearby. Any suggestions will be appreciatd. Thank you <3

Sometimes it feels like I’m the crazy one. They’ll be like “don’t you think it’s rude that you don’t ever see your babushka?” when she’s the one who told me she’ll never accept a “lesbian child under her roof”. And many more. They can’t comprehend that they’re the ones being homophobic because homophobia is so baked into their physique. They just think I decided one day to stop being close to anyone. I hate it so much.

So my voice dropped fast and steadily only a couple months on t and it’s been noticed. In general I’m absolutely elated. I love how it sounds, i love how it feels, etc. Only issue: I’m not out to my family or my job. They won’t stop asking me if I have a sore though or something. My excuse that it’s allergies is starting to fall flat. This is especially an issue with people who have haven’t seen me in a couple weeks.

I honestly wasn’t expecting my voice to change so I’m now at a loss 🫠
