Sony A95L styrofoam screen issues

I'm thinking of getting a A95L 77 inch but I keep seeing people with issues where the lack of screen protector has been causing permanent damage to the screen where the styrofoam packaging has been rubbing on it.

Is this one of those cases where it's just the minority complaining about it (and rightly so) and the vast majority are fine? Or is it a general widespread issue?

I really don't feel like paying 4 grand for a TV only to either have to send back multiple units to get a good one or have to live with some imperfections simply because they're not that visible in every day viewing.

What are people's experiences who have bought this model?

Panasonic Z95B in UK

I've recently seen that all Panasonic Z95Bs have disappeared from the UK market due to some merger/sale. From what I've read through, they haven't officially pulled out of the market altogether so does anyone know if they plan on releasing more of these models in this part of the world at any point?

Just my luck when I finally decide to get a 77inch OLED from either Sony or Panasonic, it seems both companies are out to ruin my fun.

Using G-Con 45 with SuperStation One

If I have a SuperStation One connected to a UK CRT using a DIN10 to scart cable (as the TV will only have scart inputs), how simple is it to use a G-Con to play Time Crisis etc?

I know with the original PS1 you had to use the Namco adaptor that came with it but obviously that won't work as you don't connect the Superstation to the TV in the same way.

Would I need a different adaptor of some kind? I've googled it and googled it some more and have ended up more muddled than ever.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Actually, could I just use a RCA to Scart cable and connect it that way?
