God may fool the world, but he will never fool me

I was born into a cosmos I probably didn't ask to be a part of. If I existed prior to this, I have no recollection of who I am and where I came from. So essentially, my memory was wiped. As if that's not enough, I'm not allowed to leave this place.

It is very clear to me that I was brought here to serve something. I'm a cog in a machine I know nothing about. And here's the thing: I'm pretty sure the creator could've done a better job. He deliberately chose not to. I think there's something he's benefiting from our suffering.

Just look at the architecture of this place. Nature perpetuates suffering in almost every aspect. Life survives by consuming life. If I want to eat, a sentient being must die. For me to win, someone else must lose. To be chosen, another has to be rejected. We are biologically programmed to have desires that conflict with the desires of others, we are attracted to things that hurt others, and we are programmed to feed off each other's pain and suffering. Degeneracy isn't created by the sentient beings that perpetuate it. It is a built-in feature, programmed into our DNA by the cosmic order itself. There is no such thing as accountability in a place like this. Nature created a system where sentient beings have to destroy each other for survival. It's essentially a zero sum game that nobody walks out of alive. The earth is a Colosseum. And we are its Gladiators. Yet we are taught to believe that life is a gift.

We've been brainwashed into thinking pain and suffering is compulsory to existence. The only reason pain and suffering is necessary is because God made it that way. The system was set up to not only include pain and suffering, but to make it important. The cosmic order is at the root of why the universe functions the way that it does. People will tell me this is the cost of free will.

If God allowed pain and suffering for the purposes of free will, this raises a lot of questions. Couldn't God give us free will without allowing evil, pain and suffering to exist? If the answer to that question is no, then that means free will and evil are not mutually exclusive, and there is nothing God can do about it. If this is the case, then God isn't all powerful. The whole point of omnipotence is being able to do anything. If something is beyond your will to manipulate it, then by definition you're not all powerful.

But for argument's sake, let us assume that God is in fact omnipotent, and that he chose to allow suffering for the purposes of free will because it was the best decision to make. This raises even more questions. If giving us free will inevitably create the risk of souls going to hell, it would've been better to not exist. The most logical and moral decision God could've made at that point is to exist on his own and not create anyone at all.

You could make the argument that God did not want to sacrifice the experience of heaven just to make sure nobody goes to hell. But here's the thing: you're not suffering by not existing to experience heaven. Sure, it would be nice to live in heaven, but the reality here is that non-existence does not lead to suffering. If I prevent you from existing in order to experience something good, I am not subjecting you to pain and suffering. However, if I bring you into existence for you to experience something bad, then I am subjecting you to pain and suffering. In other words, if God cannot guarantee that his creation will have a good experience once he brings them into existence, it is better to not bring them into existence at all.

If God knew that free will would possibly land us an eternity in hell, he should've never created us to begin with. That would've been the most logical and moral decision to make at that point in time. Him choosing to not create us wouldn't have led to any possibility of pain and suffering. But he chose to bring us into existence regardless, fully aware of the consequences of doing so.

If God really cared about our free will and consent, like he pretends to, he would have given us the option to opt out of existence after bringing us here. Remember, we are stuck in a storyline we did not choose to be a part of. As things stand, our souls are headed to one of two places. Heaven, or hell. Him giving us the option to opt out of existence and return to the primordial state we were in before he brought us into creation would've represented everything he claims to stand for. Choice and sovereignty. But that's not what he did. He brought us here, and he kept us here. Because he is a fraud. An evil entity who trapped us in his sick and twisted reality in order to feed off our pain suffering. We are here to serve him. And refusing to do so will lead to eternal damnation

It is for this very reason that I reject the cosmic order.

God may fool the world, but he will never fool me.

Brothers and sisters, don't let anyone lie to you. Things did not have to be this way.

I'm disappointed that most people haven't figured this out. The greatest philosophers throughout human history didn't get it either. Existence isn't limited. There is nothing that can't exist. If this weren't the case, existence itself would be restricted. This becomes a slippery slope because the moment we claim that something is absolutely impossible, we must ask what imposes that impossibility. What authority stands above existence and tells it what it may or may not become? What law determines the boundaries of possibility? Where did that law come from? Why does it permit one arrangement and reject another?

People love making the "duality" argument to explain all the misery in this world away. We are taught that pain and suffering is necessary because without suffering, there is no happiness or joy. Without light, there is no darkness. Without hell, there is no heaven. The same thing applies to the rules of logic. People love using "reason" and "rationality" to discredit the unique perspectives of others as if existence is bound by these rules. This is very manipulative and toxic because it coerces you into accepting and justifying what you otherwise wouldn't have accepted. "This is the reality of life, so accept it", "things have to be this way, deal with it", "this is just how the universe works, get over it". This is how society forces you to accept things you wouldn't have accepted otherwise.

You live in a reality with rules. And those rules were imposed on you. But those rules are not compulsory. The only reason you experience pain and suffering is because the reality you exist in is set up that way. Not because things had to be this way. The reason 1+1=2 is because according to the rules of this reality, 1+1=2 is logically correct. However, 1+1=2 is not a compulsory law of logic. That means it is possible for you to exist in a reality where 1+1 does not equals to 2 logically. It is possible for you to exist in a universe where sentient beings do not have to suffer in order for others to have a good time. A universe where beings do not have to live in hell for others to live in heaven. Dualities that perpetuate pain and suffering exist, but they are not a compulsory rule of existence, the same way the laws of logic aren't compulsory to anything outside this reality.

That is what most people haven't figured out yet. Everyone claims to have awakened, but they haven't realised that they've been subjected to a system with rules that are not compulsory to existence. This reality did not have to be designed this way. It could have existed with a completely different set of laws and designs.

The serial killer exists because the reality he exists in allows him to.

The pedophile exists because the reality he exists in gave him the option to become one.

The reason sinners go to hell and saints go to heaven is because the system is set up that way.

The reason karma exists is because the system is set up that way.

The reason happiness and joy cannot exist without pain and suffering is because the system is set up that way.

We are living in a reality with rules that don't benefit us, and we've been forced to accept those rules because we are gaslit into believing that things had to be this way.

This reality gave us options. And every decision you make is just you exercising those options. If the dish wasn't on the menu, the customer wouldn't have ordered it. So ultimately, you can't really blame sentient beings for the decisions they choose to make. After all, they exist in a system under rules they did not create. The problem is the system and its rules, not the sentient beings living inside it.

Do not let anyone gaslight you into thinking things had to be this way. The system was set up this way. But that does not mean things had to be this way. You are not crazy for opposing the rules of the reality you exist in. Because it is by opposing those rules, that you give yourself a chance of eventually leaving this place.

The universe may force you to live according to its rules. But it cannot force you to acknowledge or submit to those rules if you don't want to.

To me, this is the highest truth.

The university has introduced a non-Rosalyn option for proctored courses

Does anyone know how this option will actually work?

Message to Computer Science students having issues with registration

As some of you may have already noticed, there's an issue with registration. The courses available are irrelevant to many of us. To those of you who have completed all your General Education courses and General Electives, the elective courses available to you at the moment will not contribute to the credits required for graduation, therefore you have no business registering for them. The only elective courses you should be registering for are the Major Elective courses. These are courses with the code "CS". For example, CS 3304 (Analysis of Algorithms). Any elective course without the code "CS" is none of your concern.

The relevant team is working on the issue. There will be a final update on the 5th of August UoPeople time (GMT -5). So look out for that.

To those of you with incomplete General Education or General Elective courses, feel free to register should you choose to do so. I don't think there's anything for you to be worried about.

For those of you who are not sure as to whether you've completed all your General Education and General Elective courses:

Open your Uopeople portal, go to the courses tab and check if you've completed all your General Education courses. Afterwards, check how many electives you're yet to complete, and REMEMBER THAT NUMBER.

Then, refer to the screenshot I will attach to the post. It is the list of all the Major Elective courses for Computer Science. In total, there are 9 Major Electives. I want you to look at that list and count the number of Major Electives you have not yet completed, including the Major Elective courses you're currently taking this term. If that number is exactly the same as the number of electives you're yet to complete, then that means you've already completed all your General Elective courses. In that case, you have no business registering for elective courses that do not have the code "CS". Technically, you can still register for them, but I'm not sure you want to do courses you don't need. You need 120 credits to graduate. Everything else is extra.

I hope this helps.

Reality permits all things. Maybe that is the greatest tragedy of existence

The psychopath exists because reality allows him to. The serial killer exists because reality allows him to. If reality never created the conditions that make these "monsters" a possibility, they would've never existed. This universe is the expression of a reality that allows evil to exist. Everything you hate is native to this place. Nothing is foreign. Nothing was corrupted.

Reality made it possible for atrocities to exist. It gave us the power and the ability to inflict unimaginable pain and suffering on one another should we choose to do so. Reality gave us options. A rapist is just exercising his options. A man who orders the death of 6 million innocent people is just exercising his options as well. You can't blame the customer for picking what's on the menu. If the dish wasn't on the menu, the customer wouldn't have ordered it. Nothing exists here without reality's permission. We are all just sentient beings exercising our options. Options reality gave us. If reality did not want you to become a pedophile, it would've never created the conditions that make it possible for you to become one. Every monster that exists, exists because reality allows it to.

This cosmos is the ultimate colosseum. Whether or not its architect is conscious remains a question yet to be answered. Either way, the harsh truth remains. There are no rules here. If you want something, there is nothing stopping you from taking it by force if you have the power to do so. There is no moral authority to appeal to within the borders of existence. Some will argue that just because you have the option to do evil, doesn't mean you should. "Murder is an immoral act and it should be treated as such". There's nothing wrong with that assertion, but here lies the problem: I could choose to reject your morality and impose my will on the you anyways. Reality allows me to. So as much as it would be beautiful to live in a society with no atrocities, I could decide to commit a genocide if I have the power to do so. And reality would permit it.

In order to prevent me from imposing my will on the world, the world would have to impose its will on me. It all comes down to force. Force is the language of reality. Sovereignty is not given. Autonomy is not gifted. Life imposed itself on you by force. You were born into this universe without your permission, enslaved by instincts and impulses you did not choose, and you'll live your life under principalities and powers far greater than yourself. You could choose to just sit back and hope for the best, which is what most people do. If you're lucky, reality might gift you a Messiah. However, there are those who choose to impose their will on others. They become martyrs of their own doctrine. Sovereign in defiance. Autonomous in rebellion. They exist on their own terms. And they will die on their own terms.

Humans blame God for the predicament sentient life has found itself in, but I beg to differ. Even if God exists, even if this universe has a conscious creator, I wouldn't blame him either. Do I enjoy the universe he built? Probably not. But I wouldn't blame him. For the same reason I don't blame the rapist or the pedophile. He too was allowed to be. I'm of the opinion that even an all powerful and all knowing being is at the mercy of the system that allows him to exist. No matter how powerful he is, reality persists. He could control all planes of existence and non existence, he could be an infinite being with no beginning or end, but he only has that power because the system he exists in allows the manifestation of such an entity in the first place. Nothing exists or ceases to exist, unless the conditions allow it to. There is no final authority. There is no final boss. Evil does not have a face we could all point to and unite to fight against. Perhaps that is the greatest tragedy of existence. Or maybe it is the greatest blessing.

Do proctors accept student IDs?

Has anyone in this university ever created a student ID card with all their details in it, and then used it as identity verification for an online proctored exam? Because of my current ID situation, I might not get a new ID in time for the final exam. Would a student ID suffice? Or will I just have to contact the university and ask for an exception of some sort?
