Hi everyone, I'm new to the world of plumerias.

Actually, this is the fifth plant I've bought. The other four always ended up rotting; I probably watered them too much or placed them in the wrong spot.

This one seemed destined for the same fate. It was clearly starting to rot at the tips, so after pruning the affected parts, I decided to plant it directly in the ground, convinced that it wouldn't recover.

To my great surprise, however, it started producing new leaves again. The plant seems to have recovered, but since it has happened before that a plant appeared to be recovering only to die shortly afterward, I'd like to hear your opinion.

I'm particularly concerned about the last photo: the branch looks too dark to me and slightly rotten. What do you think?
