Why is does the Closed Caption text EVER appear at the top over the actors faces? Who programmed that?

The pathetic r/ParamountPlus mod clowns removed this from their reddit. Of course they did, clowns can't handle a bit of fucking criticism....

I put closed captions on sometimes because the volume is set low and I want to make sure I understand what's being said. But the text appears in a black box (which is its own issue, programmers, please look at how Apple TV does it) OVER THE FACES, dead center at the top. I mean really, do the programmers not even look at their app in use?

What's up with all these NYS BMWs with no front plate?

I cannot tell you the number of new BMWs I see driving around NYS with no front plate. Isn't that still illegal in NY? Years ago I got a ticket when my front plate was torn off by a snow bank and I didn't know it. Thes people are driving around without one and they know it. Can anyone in NY tell me how's it's ok for them?

Don't understand the Pre-heating cycle on the Instant Pot Pro

So, apparently I do not understand the purpose of the Instant Pot Pro Pre-heating cycle. If I want to slow cook something for hours, but use the Saute option to get it hot fast, click Stop, then set it to Slow Cook High, why does the unit then "Pre-heat" for more than an hour? If I want my oven be 225 degrees and preheat it to 400 degrees, turn it off, and immediately set it to 225, the oven doesn't "pre-heat" for an hour to get there. What is actually happening here. (Image is an hour and 15 minutes into Pre-heating. I set Slow cook to Custom for 6 hours and 30 minutes.)
