The current WR is 1:24 by GiantChicken, ive decided to do it once again and i got 1:22, i used the new technique which is height wind push (HWP), if you spam a air combo at the wind on the 3DS version, you can get pushed from the sky, the last room is the hardest one, btw rare aesthetic of first WR with the worst console possible, GG!
The current wr was 1:27 by GiantChicken, but i got a new technique that is good for speedrun, which is spamming air combo in 3DS, it can push you from the sky, the 2nd room sucked.
This is a glitch on "Outta My Way" if you attack a 2nd living stone on the final area, livingstone gets frozen for some seconds, if you pop it, he turns into a ghost, you can bounce on it, and starts repeating sound until it stops in 0:23.
If you do a ground pound yby when you're small, you can get more jump height and speed, it only works on 3DS version.
If you do a roll yby jump with backwards kick jump to enter the hole, do a wall hop and it kills you. (Im not sure if it exclusively works in 3DS.)
I was looking at some speedruns, until i noticed the run by Caramel, which it uses this movement, i think its a fusion of brake boost and a yby.
I wish there's a mod that restores the original movement speed from the other versions of the game, The first video was the concept and the second video was the max speed in 3DS for break boosting.
If there is a mod for it, 3DS will be really useful for speedruning.
I interrupted my momentum cuz i cant jump too higher at 0:10. But hey, at least that was a good run!

If you do an yby up next to the pipe from inside of the 2nd secret area, you can skip the forks, but the weird thing happens, the pipe in front of salt shakers becomes solid. It only works in the 3DS version.
I made a texture mod about Talking Ben, replaces Livingstone into Talking Ben.
I used ibis paint x for the sprites, i never seen some people editing the textures, also i made it in wii version too...
