Meta AI Defamation and Hallucination
When you search my name and account on Instagram through the Instagram Search Bar, Meta AI is generating a false response stating that I was convicted of fraud and identity theft, but when you check the sources the AI is using, it's someone with the same last name as me different first name, and it is attributing their criminal history to my account summary. I have no relation to this person nor do I know this person, we just have the same last name and they are from the same state as me, so Meta AI believes that my account is tied to his criminal history. I have contacted Meta through all of their support channels to fix this issue and they have been no help. I am wondering if this can be fixed or is the only way to go the legal route. I am planning to send a demand letter to their offices to fix this identity conflation but I am not sure if that would be helpful as I've heard long replies or no responses, and this is an urgent issue as it involves serious defamation falsely accusing me of a crime whenever someone searches my username or account. Any advice would help
