So when I opened the the provisional seat acceptance letter in my phone, then it's alright and it has my photo.
But when I download it the photo vanishes.

LAPTOP RECOMMENDATIONS FOR AEROSPACE.
Got aerospace engineering here in IIEST today. I was targeting for it so I'm glad. I wanted to ask the seniors if there would be a need for a laptop and recommendations for them. Don't suggest any super expensive models but affordable ones for a middle class range.

Is this good?
To be honest I was not going to fill for this branch. For IIIT's I was just filling CSE/ECE/AI/IT hoping I'd get one of these in lower of mid IIITs. I don't even know how it got in my preference list.
Now the thing is my ews rank is 57xx. My first priority was aerospace so I also filled IIST counceling( might get it, might not). Now I was thinking of filling IIEST shibpur aerospace in CSAB( it's available on my rank in CSAB). But I think due to news about it being converted to IIT Kolkata the cutoff for it may rise and i might not get it.
So for sake of not taking any risk I think I'm just going with IIIT jabalpur mechanical. Is it any good?

Should I take designing in IIT Delhi
From my jee advanced result, the only decent thing I might be getting is designing in IIT Delhi.
I need help from the seniors who took designing to please tell me what it's all about...\[ I didn't know there even was a branch called designing until a week ago\], could you tell me the details like syllabus and placement and packages?

First semester study material
I've been bored af since 17th May and I don't have any idea what to do with my free time. I play football, watch some web series but I'm still bored( atleast until the fifa wc starts). So I think maybe I can get started on some first semester syllabus[ it's not that I'm so nerdy that I can't do anything else, I just need something to do in the time in which I am not doing anything else], so if any of the seniors here could tell me which books you guys use in the first semester(preferably aerospace related) I could start reading those in my free time.
