I F31 and seeing 45M, does it seem like he is truly interested or is going to play me?
I have been seeing this guy for two weeks now. I felt a connection with him right upon meeting. When we were at his place we talked about dating and he said he was afraid of hurting me because I'm to "pure". After talking about this we ended up having sex, which was intense intimacy. The day after I felt hurt because of the confusion around if he wants to date me or not. So I texted him stating my feelings, that I already had feelings for him and I'm sad that we can't date. After pouring out my heart to him he called me twice that day. He invited me to go out to lunch today and to go on a boat together. He just said that he wants things to go how they are and he isn't sure what he wants. He's been calling me and texting me consistently since I sent him that text. We have been having long phone conversations for over an hour. I am afraid this is going to lead to heartbreak and I'm not sure how to proceed. Part of me wants to hold off on hooking up with him until I am sure how clear things are.
