'Malibu Ken and Jeffrey' sounds like a new band.

Notes about this collection:
Ken should be wearing green shorts, and Lil Jeff is wearing a much better Ken outfit from, I think, 1979. He was wearing a cheap $2 "tuxedo" that they think we want so badly all the time (we do not).

Jeffrey is the sort of cheap clone who is hollow with a box so poorly made that his eyes are obscured by the unnecessary star supergraphics on the top. However, I was trying to matchi the stolen '70s fashion illustration on the lower left.

My favorite packaging for Ken clothes of this era is definitely GUAG, which Mattel used between ~1973-1978 for certain ensembles such as this.

I don't actually have the original pants or the scarf to this number, but that sweater and the belt are.

Malibu Ken, way too big for this outfit, is just here for scale.

Welcome "Robert," an undated dollar store style Ken clone from "Ocean Desert Sales" AND, if that wasn't enough excitement for you, also pictured are unrelated outfits that also says "Robert."

He certainly looks like a slightly baby-ish first edition flocked Ken, but he's only 8.5" tall (vs 11.5"), so not •totally• a Ken clone.

Did you guys notice the shopping cart scam when shopping at Tre House? I noticed it too, but STILL got snared in the end. Here's how I failed.

It's basically a "dark pattern" scam— user interfaces crafted to trick you into doing things you might not otherwise do—such as buying unwanted items.

The unwanted item is called "Checkout+" and not only does the company automatically add the "product" to your cart, the price increases as you add more items to the card.

It's NOTHING BUT A SCAM
• a tracking number
• guaranteed delivery
• some bullshit called carbon-neutral shipping
• and "satisfaction guaranteed" I KID YOU NOT
ALL THINGS YOU GET ANYWAYS

Yes, you CAN delete the item from the cart if you notice it. I did that
When I came back to the cart later, IT WAS BACK, again and again. If I deleted it and refreshed the page it would reappear

I shopped a long time, deleting the item repeatedly, but in the end I actually forgot as I juggled my purchases and c my coupon code and just thinking about getting the free shipping and all that stuu

NOT NOTICING THE CHARGE is what they want!!
If the product was so great, they would not add it to your cart without you permission.

I bought quite a bit on sale, and the scam charge increased to over $8. I was diligent not to get scammed, but I FORGOT!!!

The outfit he's wearing is actually branded as Joe Namath, and is a bit big for Richie (and Ken), but it's fabulous, so you're seeing, dangit!
