[SRPE41] The dial surprises me everytime!

This Seiko was my first big boy watch in the collection and also the oldest one. Hence it wasnt getting as much wrist time. Today I decided to put it back on my wrist and oh my! It looks absolutely stunning when the sunlight hits it right.

The thing I love most about the Negroni dial is how dynamic it is. Sometimes it looks like rich burgundy, other times dark chocolate brown, and under certain lighting it almost turns black. The sunburst finishing radiates from the centre and gives the watch far more depth at this price point.

Made me fall in love with the watch all over again. I think I am going to wear this more often now 😉 What are you guying rocking today?

Absolutely in love with this negroni dial

When the sunlight hits just right! The color pops out so beautifully. Cant stop looking at it. Seiko presage is oldest watch in my collection and wasnt getting as much wrist time. Today I wore it and it instantly reminded me how beautiful this watch is! What are you guying rocking today?

Joining the club with Khaki auto

Got Hamilton Khaki 38mm automatic on my trip to Malaysia. Got a pretty sweet deal due to Eid discounts. I was never a fan of Hamilton as such but looking at it in person just made me love it. Absolutely loving it right now and cant seem to wear anything else, no matter the occasion!

Got 2 of my favourite pieces - Hamilton and Orient

I bought two of my favourite watches during my Singapore-Malaysia trip and I’m absolutely thrilled with both!

Hamilton Khaki Field Automatic (38mm) – Picked this up in Malaysia from Watatime. MRP was MYR 3,100 (~Rs75k), but thanks to an Eid promotion, I got a 30% discount and ended up paying ~Rs52k which I thought was an absolute steal. I tried both the 42mm and 38mm versions. While I slightly preferred the look of the 42mm dial, it was a bit too large on my wrist, so the 38mm was the obvious choice. I had also checked the price at Changi Airport and it was around Rs62k, but they didn’t have this model in stock anyway.

I have to admit, I was never a huge Hamilton fan before. But after wearing this for the last couple of days, I genuinely think it might be the best watch in my collection.

Orient Bambino Sun & Moon – This was love at first sight. The moment I saw it, I knew I was going home with one. Ended up buying two in Singapore for SGD 840. After the GST refund, my cost worked out to roughly Rs30k per watch, which felt like a fantastic deal for such a beautiful piece.

All in all, I managed to pick up two watches that were high on my wishlist for a total of ~₹80k. Couldn’t be happier with the haul.

Now I just have 4 new watches (including one Seiko for wife) in my luggage and need to figure out how to make it through customs 🤪

Happy to answer any questions!
