Apple Watch Afib history and PVCs

I turned on Afib history feature on my Apple Watch to feed data to Bevel app. I’ve been diagnosed with premature ventricular contractions. I believe they confuse Apple Watch passive Afib detection. If I turn Afib history off, I receive no Afib warning. I had Holter done, it showed 7000+ PVCs but no Afib.

I decided to ignore those numbers. Am I righ?

Withings blood pressure patent

Cuffless blood pressure measurement using PPG.

“Method for determining blood pressure data

This description relates to a PPG device, a PPG system and a method for determining blood pressure data, including arterial blood pressure data, using an optical sensor, such as a photoplethymosgram (PPG) sensor.“

If this feature land on ScanWatch 3, I’ll buy one.

Withings StethO Al

Latest Withings app beta (TestFligh) contains something interesting for BeamO users: Withings StethO Al.

Get a clinical-grade screening for abnormal heart and lung sounds in seconds.

The stethoscope has been practically useless unless you’re healthcare professional.

It should be noted this feature sits behind Withings+ paywall.

Guess I continue to be Withings customer

Because it’s starting to get interesting:

Withings is developing four new early detection algorithms for chronic diseases: (hypertension, diabetes, heart failure, and peripheral artery disease).

To complement Glucose Resilience, Withings is separately developing the Diabetes Risk Score, a medical feature intended to go through CE regulatory clearance, designed to assess an individual's risk of developing type 2 diabetes.

The Withings Heart Function Risk Notification (HFRN) Retrospective Study is a fully decentralized, non-interventional study evaluating the diagnostic performance of Withings' software-only medical device (SaMD). It analyzes passive, longitudinal health data—including weight/BMI, body-water variability, and step counts—to detect signs of heart failure.

BPM Vision worth of it?

I’m getting more and more frustrated with Omron EVOLV:

  • Measurements vanish in thin air and never show up on the Omron Connect app.
  • It complains about movement despite not moving a finger.

The only good thing is the IntelliWrap cuff, doesn’t care how slap it on your arm.

Tried BPM Core once and ended returning it, cuff was too bulky and cumbersome.

Is the BPM Vision best option?
