Influencers children becoming influencers

Honestly it's so sad to watch. These kids have been exploited since young, and it's like they don't know any other lifestyle.

CakeMyBreath's 2 daughters have a handle and it's as if each of her children will eventually get their own. The younger ones have been born into it and their whole life is revolved around the camera. I also noticed that Moses and Ziporah have now started involving their daughter and even made a new special mum and daughter account

What's worse? Losing the Sheitel or losing the beard?

What's the biggest Aveira? We all know that touching your beard or uncovering your hair is worse than being Mechalal Shabbos in Chabad, but which is the bigger evil?

People are losing their shit

So this Mendy Amor has entered social media where he shows the world what Chabad actually is all about. These ex Chabad voices are very rare and often get shut down, as Chabad are very into PR. People can't take what he is revealing.

He is being gaslit by being told his experience is just his family (absolutely not) or one of a BT family (he's Gezhe so not the case at all).

Meet the Teachers 🤍

Hi lovely souls 🤍

Tomorrow is such an exciting evening for our family as we prepare to meet Sage's teachers for the first time!

I have been thinking carefully about how to support Sage through this new experience, so naturally I have decided that we should all go together. Sage seems to think it is an evening just for parents, but I don't really understand why. Surely the children should be able to meet the people who will be teaching them too? We are a family, after all. And we all want to celebrate this new chapter with Sage.

Sage mentioned that Al isn't going, but I think perhaps Al just doesn't like going out at night because I can't imagine why anyone would choose to miss something like this.

I am also preparing some little snacks to bring because I don't know how long these meetings usually last. Are you expected to eat beforehand? Should I inform them of lovely Basil's allergies? Is there a timetable? Do teachers introduce themselves one at a time? Will we be sitting in a circle? Are parents allowed to ask questions during the lesson? Do we need to bring our shoes?

And most importantly, are children allowed to leave the room if they feel overwhelmed, or do they need to ask permission? My children aren't used to restrictive rules, so may find that difficult.

All the children are very excited to accompany Sage and show their support. Oregano has already said they would like to explore the school grounds beforehand to ensure the grounds will be welcoming for Sage. Basil is bringing a little stone for Sage to keep in their pocket. Cumin has simply been practising opening and closing the briefcase for Sage that Oregano discovered in the meadow.

Thyme and Turmeric have been preparing something very special for Sage's teachers. They have collected little pieces of bark, dried leaves and some things they found beneath the old oak tree and are making each teacher a little "earth bundle" to remind them to stay connected to the natural world. They said they wanted to include a little soil from our garden too, so the teachers can take a piece of home with them. I think it's very thoughtful, although I'm not sure how much soil they have actually put in each one.

Paprika has asked if they can sit with Saffron in the hallway during the evening, as they are both rather sensitive to lots of noise and unfamiliar sounds. I think it would be much kinder for them than expecting them to sit in a crowded room, but I'm not sure whether this is something schools usually allow? Would there be somewhere peaceful for them to sit?

I'm sure tomorrow will be a beautiful beginning. 🤍

That Jewish Family

Danny has such main character energy.

This is the latest one that ticked me off. What makes him think it's acceptable and OK to surprise your younger sister and crash them for a week or 2? Whilst she may be happy, it's just disrespectful. What if they had other plans? I can't imagine anything worse. And they constantly do this all the time. They think they're celebrities wherever they go, and always expect the royal treatment and the red carpet to be rolled out for them and their kids. And when it's not, they act so entitled.

Edited to add. I didn't follow the story that much to know that the husband knew. I'm just saying that their whole general vibe is very entitled and that example is just another one. They think behave very entitled and act is if everything revolves around them. They're the type to think that anyone would jump for joy for them coming, without considering if the person had other plans, or may prefer a heads.

Difficulty working with a HCA

Whenever I'm paired with a certain HCA, I end up having a really stressful shift and end up being drained and staying really late. The hard part is that there's nothing obvious I can pull them up on. They're kind, patients really like them, and they know how to appear busy.

The problem is that they somehow always manage to be doing jobs that take them away from the bay, such as taking things to the bank or collecting items from other wards. They also seem to time their breaks just as patients are likely to need changing, take their full break (sometimes longer), and often leave for handover early. Meanwhile, I find myself doing far more of the personal care than I normally would, on top of all my nursing responsibilities.

I have absolutely no issue with personal care. It's part of nursing, and I'll always help. My frustration is that I'm trying to juggle medication rounds, assessments, documentation, referrals, phone calls and everything else, yet I end up missing breaks, staying late and feeling constantly behind when I'm working with this person.

They also expect me to be available for every transfer or change, regardless of what I'm doing. For example, I was in the middle of a medication round when she asked for help with a transfer. I explained I needed to finish giving some time-critical medication. I still stopped to help with a transfer because I wasn't going to not help. I then noticed the patient didn't have socks on, so I asked the HCA to sort that. I then quickly ran to collect medication from the clinic. I was gone for about two minutes, but when I came back they told me off and said I shouldn't leave them like that again. I don't have time to waste, so every second is precious. In hindsight I should have communicated, but I was so frazzled already, that I thought it was obvious what I was doing.

I think what I find difficult is that they don't seem to appreciate or respect the nursing workload. They'll sometimes comment, "Surely meds shouldn't take that long?", which makes me feel as though they don't understand or respect everything that medication rounds involve, especially when they're constantly interrupted.

What makes this especially difficult is that come across as caring and responsible, but somehow always manage to say "This patient needs changing," or "This one needs a wash," just as they're heading off on break. They have a knack with getting out of tasks. I know I should respond by asking them to do those tasks first, but I'm not naturally assertive, and I don't want a disagreement in front of patients. I'm also often caught by surprise, so I'll be knee deep in a task, and they'll announce that they're going on break and share what needs doing. I really struggled with her when I was NQ, and even brought it up to the sisters, but as there's not anything that I can pull her up on it's difficult. They all know she's like that and expect me to be more assertive. I just don't know how to.

I actually find her more difficult than incompetent staff (and trust me there's many) as they don't boss me about and are not demanding. Usually I can tell other staff what's expected, but it's really difficult to do this with her.

Any tips other than always hoping I'm not with her? How do you become more assertive without feeling confrontational?

I know she's one of the smaller influencers, but this week she's just shared that she secretly remarried her ex. She didn't share it with any of her friends beforehand, probably because they would have talked her out of it!

It's screaming 🚩🚩🚩

She has been very public about their messy divorce and sounds like he and his family are/were very abusive. She claims they reconnected due to her being arrested for his fines!!! Trauma bonding at its finest.

Sending Sage Forward - Manifest Circle this Saturday at noon 🤍

Hi lovely souls 🤍

It has been a little while since I've written. This summer has been one of the biggest seasons of growth our family has ever known.

After many long walks, quiet meditations, gentle conversations, and more tears than I expected, I have made the decision to allow lovely Sage to attend school.

This has been one of the hardest decisions I've ever made as a Mum, but I realised something very important. I was asking Sage to trust their inner voice, whilst quietly hoping it would always lead them to the path I had chosen. That wasn't freedom, and is the opposite of what I stand for.

So I've decided to let Sage follow the path that feels right for them, even if it isn't the one I imagined when they first arrived earthside. I also came to realise that I cannot ask Sage to carry the weight of my own childhood. My memories of school belong to me, not to them.

And goodness, they are so excited! I've never seen them smile quite like this. 🤍

To honour this new beginning, we'd love to invite anyone who feels called to join us this Saturday at noon for a very gentle Manifest Circle, simply to hold Sage in warmth and kindness as they begin this new chapter.

There will be herbal teas, blankets, quiet intentions and, knowing Basil, probably something involving blackberries. Paprika has been helping make little pressed flower bookmarks for Sage, which has been so lovely to see. Thyme and Turmeric are already discussing what colour ribbons carry the most encouraging energy. Oregano has announced they intend to forage Sage a "lucky acorn", although I'm not entirely convinced acorns can be lucky. Cumin is simply delighted that everyone is gathering together and has spent the morning collecting sticks for reasons known only to Cumin. Little Saffron will, as always, join me in my sling 🤍

I do have a few questions, if anyone doesn't mind helping me. Do children really stay inside all day, or are they allowed to wander outside if they need to think? If Sage needs to sit beneath a tree for a little while, is that something schools understand? Do they have to ask permission every time they need the toilet, even if their body is telling them now? Are children allowed to take their shoes off if their feet feel they need the earth? And do teachers still shout? I still have memories of Mr Downtrodden waving his stick and screaming at poor Carol Warburton. Not long after her family moved away.

Thank you to everyone who listened to my worries over the summer without judging me. I don't know exactly what this next chapter will look like, and I'm working hard to step back and be the Mum Sage needs me to be.

Sending you all softness as autumn begins to whisper its arrival. 🤍

Influencers who made Oct 7th and the subsequent war and anti-Semitism their whole persona

I'm referring to those who don't live in Israel, which is why I disagreed with those on the other thread who said this about TheRealHadassah, as she was always about Israel and it is her own genuine living experience.

Shai Albrecht is guilty of this. She used to be all about her exercise and her rich homestead living and sharing her "life as an orthodox Jew" in a bikini. She then pivoted massively. She was in Israel at the time, so I do get that she went through the trauma, but she completely changed everything on her page and reinvented herself. Her hubby also gives major creepy and ick vibes. I doubt he's as successful as a lawyer as they make out. I remember reading that although they like to present him taking on her surname as noble and modern, it was actually an attempt to try and reinvent himself after being in trouble with the law and having a past. This is purely a rumor so it could be untrue, but I wouldn't put this past him.

Lizzy Savetsky is another shady one. In her defense, she was also in Israel on Oct 7th and always was an activist, so that didn't necessarily change. I just hate how she is considered an advocate and representative for Jews. It just reinforces this rich privileged image. She also exploits her kids. Her daughter was ten when they were promoting her tiktok page where she was doing skincare! It was clearly attracting pervs and her and her plastic surgeon husband aren't naive and knows this!

Camp songs.

They were all about the Rebbe. As a child, I found them all very sad. A lot of them seemed to be during the stroke, but by then the Rebbe had died so it was hard to relate to. Only later new songs were created, such as "Gimmel Tamuz didn't change a thing".

These were the top choices in my era.

- Rebbe oh Rebbe we need you

- A tear rolls down from his cheek

- A young boy holds a small cup in his hand (TTO Kaili Atah)

- The little bird is calling

- A small cup of wine, he holds on his hand.. thousands of men standing in awe, their attention to the Rebbe is drawn.

- can't remember the beginning but about a young boy taken to the Russian army and had a burn on his hand whilst watching the Shabbos candles at 3 "It left on him a scary so deep, memories he knew he'd always keep. At 5 years old he was taken away from the Derech Hatorah he did stray, taken to the army as captive, as a Jew he could not live". Years later he almost killed his father, not knowing who he was and the song ends with "In a rage the soldier lifts his arm, but stops by the Chossid's cry of alarm... "Shloimele you are a Jew". Sad story if true.

What songs were part of your camp experience? I wonder if the stroke era songs are still being sang now?

"Extra, extra read all about it, the Rebbi is Messiah there's no doubt about it"

"The Rebbi of Lubavitch is Messiah, yes it's true. Don't take my word, go check it out and see it if it's true... "And the number on his front door is 770"

Childhood memory unlocked! Anyone else remember this song?

Trivia Question: who can name the singer?

The Frock: Simi, Chaya, Chani Lisbon and Moishe the coach

What do we think about that whole circle? I don't think we've mentioned them on here yet.

I enjoy following them as there seems to be a chaotic, but authentic mess. I truly believe the Gestetners are very real and want to remain that way. It's just hard to follow what they're saying sometimes. I remember back in the day, they gave this whole hour long podcast on how they are choosing to "leave" their page and find themselves. It could have been said in 1 sentence. Simi has this long-winded way of expressing herself.

Simi went through a painful loss and it's inspiring to see how she copes through her grief. I didn't really follow them before, so not sure if they changed as a result or were always the same.

I find Chani hilarious, but she's very attached to Simi and wonder if there's some codependency there.

Moishe the coach seems to be a typical Frum grifter. I do believe his own therapeutic journey is genuine, and he wants to help others, but his experience alone doesn't make his qualified to help others.

Which influencers do you think are snarking on here hoping to be seen for "publicity".

I'll start. I've been on this sub since it's started and there are still some influencers not mentioned yet. I think the ones being mentioned on here secretly like this as it means they "made it".

I've not yet seen anyone snark on Cake My Breath Away. I don't think she would have an account without exploiting her kids. And to be honest, her content is quite boring. Does she actually have a product or service to offer? Or is it more "this is my (boring) life".

What other influencers haven't been mentioned yet.

*Edited to add, that I can't change the subject title, but I meant "lurking" not "snarking".

A Gentle Question From My Heart 🤍

Hi lovely souls 🤍

This time I come to you with a vulnerable question and seeking a little guidance.

My lovely Sage has recently been expressing an interest in attending school and meeting their Dad.

I worked so hard to keep my children away from school. In my heart, I have always believed it asks children to fit into boxes they were never meant to occupy. It asks them to sit still when their bodies long to move, and it expects them to accept things I have never felt aligned with, including vaccinations, when all I have ever wanted is for them to be free, to feel the earth beneath their feet, and to learn from the world around them.

Some of you may remember me back when I was at school. I never seemed to fit. I would spend my lessons gazing out of the window, dreaming of being outside with the trees instead. Mrs Turnbermill would rap my knuckles with a ruler and tell me to pay attention, but my heart was never in those four walls. I remember making a promise to myself that one day I would bring beautiful little souls into this world and give them the childhood I always longed for.

Sweet Sage has been talking about school more and more recently. As I sit with that, meditate, and think deeply, I find myself questioning so much. Have I truly given them the freedom I dreamed of, or am I projecting my own experiences onto them?

Sage has also expressed an interest in meeting their Dad. What they don't know is... I'm not entirely sure who their Dad is.

If it is the person I suspect, Sage is better off never meeting him. So instead, years ago, I created the story of River Moonwalker Skye, a gentle soul who followed the migrating butterflies until they found where his spirit belonged. It brought Sage comfort, even though he doesn't really exist.

Recently, Sage has been experiencing puberty. I have always tried to raise my children without limiting them by gender, but I also find myself wondering whether Sage might benefit from having a kind male figure around. My own experiences with men have not been the easiest.

When Sage was little, they were very close to Paprika's Dad, but many of you remember what happened to him. The other Dads drifted away long ago, and after everything that happened, there was no one left who felt safe to bring into the children's lives.

If I say yes to school, will the others want to go too?

Have I been protecting them, or simply protecting the frightened little child I once was?

I love my children more than anything this earth has given me. Every decision I have ever made has come from wanting to keep them safe and free.

But now Sage seems to be asking for something different. And for the first time in a very long time, I don't know what the right answer is.

I welcome any insight or advice 🤍

How much of your job is administering analgesia and antiemetics? (And by extension laxatives)

Whilst I don't want to ever dismiss someone's symptoms and want them to feel believed and validated, majority of my job is the above. But how can we ensure that we are not feeding or creating an addiction. Often the pain caused by opioids is immense, and the patients fall into this vicious cycle.

How can we balance believing a patient's symptoms and treating it whilst not creating harm?

"Manifest Circle" returns

Hi lovely souls 🤍

I've been sitting with such gratitude after our little Basket Work last Saturday. It was beautiful to see objects continuing their journeys rather than sitting forgotten. Maya, your suggestion about allowing things to be held by others in the community was such a gentle one and really opened something for us.

Lovely Eleanor, I do hope your boys found some joy in their own sorting. It is very grounding to notice what already surrounds us.

Stephen, I can reassure you that all waterways and neighbouring lands remain wonderfully free of our baskets. Though I do smile at the thought of them somehow finding their own paths and choosing you.

And Dilly, Basil was absolutely delighted that someone appreciated their blackberry collection and leaf soup. They have since become convinced that they are something of a chef and have been taking their responsibilities very seriously. Bless them.

As for this week, something rather lovely has happened. After stepping back and listening to themselves for some time, Sage has quietly shared that they feel ready to hold a small Manifest Circle once more. I am so proud of them for listening to their own rhythm. We all need seasons of rest, and well done to Sage for making allowance to hear that voice.

We will gather in the meadow at noon for a very soft and simple circle. Nothing too elaborate, just a gentle return. Paprika has offered to help with the blankets, which felt very special to me. Thyme and Turmeric are discussing flowers and tea.

Oregano has announced they will attend "only in spirit", which I have learned usually means they will appear eventually with berries or feathers and disappear again before anyone notices.

Basil is already planning refreshments and has asked me to remind everyone that they remain an egg-free household, which apparently includes the drinks.

Little Cumin has simply been practising being wonderfully present. At the moment, this mostly consists of collecting pebbles, chasing butterflies, and insisting that all sticks are "friends". There is such beauty in that untamed little age.

As always, little Saffron and I will drift in and out as we feel called.

Sending softness into your week 🤍

Basket Work 🤍

Hi lovely souls 🤍

I've felt this strong pull to gently simplify our space at home.

We’ve started what the children are calling our "Basket Work". Everything in the home is being noticed again, and we are asking each thing a simple question: Does this still feel like it belongs with us in this moment, or is it ready to move on and be held somewhere else for a while?

Nothing is being thrown away, of course. Things are simply being rehomed into baskets based on how they feel to each of us. Some are labelled “still speaking”, some “resting energy”, and Basil has insisted on one that says “absolutely not moving under any circumstances”, which currently contains a very small stone and a spoon they are emotionally attached to. Bless them 🤍

Thyme and Turmeric have been very methodical with their sorting, and viewing the shape of each object’s story. Paprika has been moving things in and out of baskets without explanation, and I'm so pleased to see them so involved.

Sage has been observing quietly and occasionally asking thoughtful questions about where things “go” when they are no longer here, which has opened some beautiful conversations.

Cumin is busy throwing things out of the baskets and returning them to different baskets entirely. They are so free and untethered about the way they approach the process. Perhaps they understand that objects are not meant to become too comfortable in one place. Bless their wild little spirit 🤍

Oregano, meanwhile, has been taking certain objects out into the woods to "ask the earth". Some have returned home with us, some have found themselves left beneath trees or beside streams, and one old saucepan apparently now belongs to a family of frogs. Oregano simply follows what feels right and I have learned not to question their process.

If anyone feels called, we may place a small community basket out near the meadow later today for gentle exchanges of items that are ready to continue their journey elsewhere.

It’s been surprisingly grounding to realise how much space appears when we simply allow things to choose their next step 🤍
