Okay so lets call him M, me and M were set up by a mutual friend and its been two months since then we fall asleep on calls together he is sweet and really kind to me. Initially we had had this conversation wherein he said that he wanted to take things slow and I agreed because I thought taking things slow meant exploring the connection going on dates but not labelling anything until much later. But nowadays I have noticed this pattern whenever I ask him out which has been thrice atp over the course of two months he always comes up with some kind of an excuse to not go. We do meet one on one but its just like for 30-40 minutes whenever he is in the area we just take a walk or sit near my building and talk. Last night our mutual friend sent me ss of her chats with m wherein she asked m how were things going with me to which he just responded with things are chill we are comfortable and our meetings are not boring, then she asked if he plans on asking me out officially to which he said ‘nah nt rly, atleast not anytime soon then when she asked why he responded with we are just going with the flow and even she agreed to that so I hope she meant it. So the casualness of his tone really hurt I know he has been hurt before and that is why he is hesitant to enter a new connection now but what does he even want with me if he doesn’t even want to go out on a date, its been two whole months, we haven’t even hugged eachother the most contact is just an awkward side hug.
