Is my baby's attachment okay?

My almost 13 month old is very attached to me at home, follows me from room to room, sits beside me while I am on the toilet and all that. But when we are outside in the park for example, he could care less where I am. He is running around, playing in the sand, wandering around other kids and almost never looks up to see if I am still there. Like he forgets I exist. I see similar kids his age at the park and they are usually close by their parents but I have to run after mine cause he will just waddle off into the sunset.

Do you think its normal and his attachment is okay? I worry a little that he isnt attached to me very much even though I feel like its not true, I dont know, I guess I need reassurance. Thank you very much.

How do you put to bed your 12 month old?

We have been bouncing him on a yoga ball for months and it worked pretty well but recenty it is annoying me as he is getting big and my back hurts and he also usually wakes up within an hour and I then nurse him back to sleep. We cosleep.

I would appreciate any suggestions that would help us to get him to sleep withou bouncing or nursing.

Thank you so much.

12 month old night wakeups

Hello,

My 12 month old and I still cosleep and he falls asleep by being bounced on a yogaball. I then put him on our bed and leave. Usually he wakes up within an hour and I nurse him back to sleep. This happens once or multiple times depending on the evening. When I go to bed he then sleeps longer stretches and wakes up maybe once or twice.

I would like for him to be able to sleep for longer from the start without having to go to him to nurse. Do you guys think nightweaning will help with this? Or what do you think is the problem? I just feel like a human pacifier and Im honestly getting kinda over nursing and I feel touched out. Thanks.

Would you put your 12 month old in a daycare if you didnt have to work?

Hello,

My son is a year old and I am still on maternity leave as in my country it is available for up to 3 years and I recently started thinking about putting him in a daycare. It would probably be for one day a week, for 2 or 3 hours. My husbands job offers free daycare for all babies that can walk so I thought it would be nice to have couple hours to myself but I am worried about him as he has always been with one of us. Our families arent very involved so its basically him and I all day everyday until my husband comes back from work.

Do you think he will be okay in there? Its a small group with 4 children max, I just dont know if I should do it. I feel like a bad mom putting him in a daycare when I am at home and dont have to work. What if he hates it and it ruins our attachment?

Thanks.
