Historical Memory of Irish raids on Britain in Togail Bruidne Dá Derga

In the text, raiders are banished from Ireland by the High King: they resort to raiding across the sea, in Britain. Leaving aside the fact that a High King didn't exist at the time, and that the story supposedly takes place before the birth of Christ, is there any chance the story is vaguely referencing the frequent raids that Goidelic peoples launched from Ireland into western Great Britain in Late Antiquity?

Offering: Italian, seeking : Basque, Georgian

I'm a 25 yo student, I've been self studying Basque for a while so I'd like to practice it a bit, the same goes for Georgian. I'm not conversational in either, but I'm not a complete beginner, especially in Basque. I like to talk about stuff, mainly languages and linguistics, history, sports, travelling and more

What's the consensus about Kassite classification?

Given the very small amount of known words, it's listed as unclassified in Glottolog, but I often read about a possible link with Hurro-Urartian. There's a 2011 paper by Fournet in which he tried using Kassite personal names to suggest a relationship with Hurrian, but I don't know if it has any value and how it is viewed by others in the field. Is it completely implausible?

Ergativity and early PIE

What's the consensus on the existence of an ergative system in an early stage of PIE (pre-PIE?) and its influence on the nominal and verbal systems? I was reading Comparative Indo-European Linguistics by Beekes and he hypothesizes this to explain the o-stem declension, neuter nominatives and accusatives and some other features.
