What make is this?

Spotted these rental long johns in Bonn. No manufacturer mark that I could see other than the PP logo on the headstock. They look pretty solid. Anyone recognise them, and are they any good?

Ebike lights & brake lights: wiring

Hey guys. I wanted to swap the headlight on my Tern GSD and opened a can of worms. Literally.

So the Tern runs a Bosch cargo line motor (pre- smart system), with the lighting software-locked to on, and the old headlight had a hardware switch to allow lighting to be switched. The idea behind this was to let the brake lights work all the time. The hardware switch on the headlamp also switched the tail lamp, so the power feed to the tail lamp runs from the headlamp.

The new headlamp has no switch.

I have rewired the headlamp and had the software lock removed, all good, but had a question regarding the tail lamp. My new Supernova brake light switch adapter takes power from the same feed as the tail lamp, but it looks like doing things this way will mean the brake lights will only work when the lights are on. However, as i understand it the Bosch motor also has a 12V/1A accessory feed. Would using the power from the accessory feed for the brake lights work, or are the ground wires somehow separate in the motor? The plan would be to use the permanent live from the accessory port for the brake lights, and the software-switched live for the tail lamp.

Yes, it would have been easier to just accept having the brake lights work when the main lights were on, but I like making my life difficult.
