Got a surprise delivery today from Master Replicas, my Destiny and Prometheus finally arrived (ordered them back in May).

Hey, I’m on my second month of using the injections, in the first 4 weeks I lost a stone and that was amazing.
I’m a bit concerned that the second month I’ve lost about 4lbs. I’m defo not eating anything like I used to (honestly I could do with eating more) and I am working out more (slowly due to an injury).
I wasn’t expecting to drop another stone but more than 4lbs. Just looking to see I’m worrying over a blip and things will pick up. I’m ordering my .75 pen to start next week.
Received my bottles a little early and I couldn’t wait to try them.
This is an incredible bourbon.
The nose is sweet, fruity and caramel with a lovely touch of oak and ethanol. Reminds me a lot of the Weller 107.
The taste is buttery caramel and that creamy caramel finish makes the oak feel light but having a great warmth to it.
I’m glad I got 2 bottles but strongly considering further back ups as this is a great pour.
I highly recommend.

So I’m finished my first month, have dropped 1st and pick up my 0.5 tomorrow.
What I’m struggling with is eating, I’m not hungry but have the fear I eat to much or not enough of the right thing.
I’m trying to eat a lot of protein but is there a recommended portion size for meals? Vegetable combos? Just looking for guidance from folks who are longer down the path on their journeys.
Have wanted to get this bottle for so long that I had an opportunity to get two well below the secondary price here in the UK.
I cannot wait to open this as the Single Barrel Barrel Proof Rye is my favourite Rye but everything I had seen made me need to get this.

Build was ok, not a fan of the Unicorn and Griffin Zords mechanism to secure to the Red Dragonzord but it looks not bad on the display.
What are your thoughts?
I however have to protest at the annoying clips they use to hold these things in place in the box.

After a recent post I realised a lot of you were right, I wasn’t opening bottles like I used to, this was mainly as I spent 2025 drinking to much of the cheap stuff following the worst period I’ve been through in a long while.
So, with that, I wanted to not only open a bottle I have coveted for a while but one I knew wouldn’t disappoint.
Weller Full Proof.
Nose- Similar to the 107 (no surprise there) but deeper and fuller with a stronger hint of oak.
Taste- as expected very similar to the other Wellers I’ve had but a hint more chocolate and the oak is there but doesn’t make it taste dusty as some other oak heavy bourbons. Also, while there is heat there isn’t a burn, it’s warming without being harsh.
Of all the Wellers I’ve owned I’ve always said the 107 is my favourite. Well today that changes. The Full Proof is hands down my new favourite…. Until the day I can get my hands on a CYPB.
9/10- will drink again.

After much consideration I bought new shelves.
Were not great to build due to the factory putting marking holes in the wrong area (triple checked and it defo was an error their side).

Third time watching Project Hail Mary but first time on my PDP-508G.
The picture is stunning, all the details, the colours and the contrast hold up compared to viewings on my C1 OLED.
Attended a whisky tasting and after they let us purchase from the shop.
Always dangerous to “just have a look” when you’ve had some top shelf stuff.
Had a tasting last night and had to say it was delightful.
Got to try my first Hazmat in the George T Stagg and it was incredible. So smooth and no burn just a really deep heat and the flavour was like nothing else.
The Pappys were also great and so well rounded just made the fact I can’t buy them here in the UK for reasonable prices worse.
I have hooked up my Wii to my Pioneer PDP-508G and am looking for help getting the best picture from it.
I had a Wii2HDMI but it crapped out so have now reverted to component cables.
Looking to get settings that people are using as a staring point (should you be using a Wii) to get the best results.
