What do you think it was the approach when writing the lyrics for it? Lots of mixed subjects on the songs.

I don’t wanna (or neither should you) assume the songs are single subjected (oh this one’s about kellen etc - besides obviously someone like you for parker’s fiance). What are your thoughts? Know that Pat wrote some stuff as well.

ST is a masterpiece, one of the most important albums to me.

Know all the lore regarding asthenia, space sounds and astronauts, but listening to it and paying attention to the lyrics, does it give you a feeling he was talking about the tension that was around that time (2002/breakup)?

One of my favorite bands, and one of my favorite guitarrists! You can feel the weight of guitars as every post hc should do and vocals are so emotionally sung, with such strong lyrics. One of the greatest bands out there.

What are your favorite songs? Boxing gloves, simple favor, please shut off the lights, cellophane. hits hard!

Been a fan for 10y+, and everything these boys touch are pure gold. But if there’s one thing I really dislike about their albums (from the Self Titled on) is their mix, I feel like all the instruments are so muffed and kinda don’t stand out in the mix.

It’s really awesome when you hear it as a whole, but I can’t really hear the guitars / bass :(

What happened that they changed their sound from LP1 to LP2? Am not considering aesthetic as it was a different vocalist but personally I thought heroine was such a weak album (both lyrically / instrumentally) even thou they had the same band members?

Would be happy to hear some lore about that era :)
