Public Transportation from ECU to Raleigh

I'm an incoming freshman from Raleigh and will be attending ECU this fall. I won't be bringing my car to campus, so I was wondering if there are any direct transportation options available between Raleigh and ECU. My parents are willing to drive me when needed, but I'd prefer to find another option so they don't have to make the trip every time I need to travel home. I'd appreciate any information or recommendations you can provide. Thank you!!

What Do I need to Bring to Orientation?

I have orientation next week, and for people who have already had it, what did you guys bring? Did they provide sheets/pillows for overnight stay at the dorm, or did you have to bring that?

How did housing selection go for yall?

My roommate and I gambled and picked legacy. I had heard a lot of bad things abt it before, but since it's coming back from renovation, we took our chances lol! What hall did you guys pick? Also, does anyone know what the legacy renovations are? Like, is it gonna be a good residential hall?

Can I increase my boobs naturally?

I’m 19, 5'5", and 108lbs, and I’ve literally been the same bra size since 7th grade, a 32AA (I still buy bras from the kids section lol).

I’ve been insecure about my chest for as long as I can remember. There are so many cute tops I feel like I can’t wear because there’s nothing there to "fill them", and bikinis make me feel especially self-conscious because I look wide and flat (I also have a wide ribcage).

I’ve seen people suggest gaining weight, but that’s what worries me. The rest of my body is already fairly proportionate; my waist is 27 inches, and my hips are 35 inches. I also have a round face and a bit of a double chin already, so I’m scared any extra weight would go to my waist or face instead of my chest. Also, last year I weighed 118lbs, but I got REALLY sick and lost 10lbs. Mind you, my boobs were the EXACT same.

I just hate how flat my chest is because it makes me feel really disproportionate. If anyone has found any natural ways to increase breast size, even just a little bit, I’d really appreciate it. Please help a girl out 😭 Thanks!!

Is 10 mins enough transition time between classes?

I am an incoming freshman, and I registered for my classes, but I'm a little concerned about the time I will have between my classes. I have a class in the Science and Tech building and another class in Brewster. Is 10 mins enough to make that transition (because that's all I have lol)? Also, do professors care if I'm a few minutes late to class?

I'm an incoming freshman for fall 2026, and I want to know what easy and fun gen ed classes I should take. For my priority, I took BIO1100&1101, MATH2171, and ENG1100. I need some fun and interesting gen ed classes to fulfill my 15 hours (so far, I'm at 11 hours). Please recommend some (Including good professor). Thanks!!

Professors for BIO1100 and MATH2171

Hey guys!! I am registering for my first year classes, and I want to know what the best professors are for:

BIO1100: Grace Chen, Lauren Shulte or Paul Hager

MATH2171: Jungmin Choi, Seig Baluyot or Ryan Kirk

I have taken AP Bio and Calc AB in high school, and I am waiting on the scores. But I still want good professors in case I don't get credit.

13in vs 15in for a college student

Hi everyone! I’m planning to switch from my Lenovo laptop to a MacBook, but I’m really unsure about what size to get. I’ll be a freshman majoring in Biomedical Engineering, and this will be my first MacBook Air. My current laptop is a 15.6-inch Lenovo, and while I’m used to the larger screen, it sometimes feels a bit too bulky.

I’m not sure if a 13-inch MacBook Air would feel too small since I’ve always used bigger laptops, especially because I’ll also use it for watching movies and everyday use. At the same time, portability is important to me for college.

Would the 13-inch Air be enough, or would it be worth spending a little more for the 14-inch MacBook Pro instead? Thanks!!

Freshmen Year Biochemistry Course Registration

Hi y'all!! I'm an incoming freshman majoring in biochem and was looking at the courses, and I am so lost. I don't know what to take. Any biochem majors who think they had a good first semester in college with good professors, please give me some guidance on what classes to take. I really want to start my first year with a good GPA. I am overwhelmed!!

Also, this might be a long shot, but I am trying to complete my bachelor's a little early and want to know how that can be possible.

How do I transfer?

Hi everyone! I am a senior in high school and got rejected from NC State for fall 2026. I will be attending UNCW for my freshman year, but I really want to transfer to NC State as a sophomore. I will be focused on my academics and will try to maintain my GPA as high as possible. What are some other things that can help me get in? Any tips will be appreciated. Thanks!!

Also I submitted my deposit for housing and all of that stuff, so I won't be doing cc.
