I need some advice
I'm a 23-year-old male, and I always played as a center only because I was the tallest on my teams. Knowing that, I developed myself to know how to play as a forward and even a little as a guard. I've done the work myself to develop that, but doing it alone with no infrastructure and opportunities was very difficult.
I have two nationalities: one from Latin America and one from Europe. The only time I've played in Europe was when I went to a camp there three years ago.
I've played in some national championships and all that in a country from Latin America, but I never had a very important role on the team because I was a 6'6" center and 198 lbs. All that was over a period of 5-7 years with many teams, but only at the end of last year did I have an opportunity to play in a local championship playing as a forward/big guard. I really made an impact on the team. I've never felt so free having the ball in my hand to play, to drive, to shoot, and to dribble, because before, when I was a center, in all the teams I played on, I barely touched the basketball in games. I was a center who only set screens, made passes, got rebounds, and "protected the rim," which was really a joke to me.
I'm a fast learner and I'm very coachable, so I'm pretty sure that if I got to play on a pro team, I would catch up to the pros in no time.
So for that to happen, I need opportunities. What would you do if you were in my place? Stay and grind in Latin America or go to Europe, even if it means playing in lower divisions to grind up?
Edit: forgot to say that im a very good mid-range shooter, above the rim finisher, decent 3pts, great defender, very athletic, very fast and agile. For comparison I've done some nba draft combine exercises to see how far I'm in some aspects, I've tried to have the closest measurements and metrics to be as close as the nba but of course with no infrastructure near close the nba. I've done the Lane Agility Drill in 9s ; the 3/4 sprint in 2,9 s.
