So theres this yt channel called warikoo careers and in many videos he says india would need about 25k actuaries by 2030. Is this true and is there high pay once u clear certain amount of papers? So far in this subreddit i didnt hear much positivity regarding this career.
I joined commerce 1 month late and im so behind.
Im ok with business studies and stats.
However accountancy, micro economics and especially maths im so cooked.
I need some good online notes or resources for micro and its doable for me.
Accountancy i can do the questions in class but idk how to study theory cuz the notes my teacher gives is so different from text and some stuffs of text theory she doesnt even teach.
Maths teacher is so bad and the worst. The rest teachers atleast takes their time for helping me. However this old women just shouts at everyone (especially me) and cant take class properly.
I dont know at all about first and second chapter.
Rest is pretty doable.

After a lot of thinking and also claude and chatgpt convos, i changed to commerce from science stream.
The reason being im interested in finance sector and government than engineering/medical. Also since theres alot of competition in jee and i made up my mind to swtich to diplomacy later i dont wanna do engineering.
Ive been thinking of doing a BA economics degree and later MSc quant economics from indian statistical institute or mba. And also try the upsc exam for foreign service.
However i dont know if econ bachelors is a good choice and i have ruined my potential by dropping science now.
Im also a top scorer of my school so people think bit odd of me to not go in the jee/neet race.
And for stem, ive been interested in space as a kid but since it requires phd and also ig jee i decided to keep it as a fascination or hobby. Also its very narrow.
If theres any indians or just any1 could u guide me in this and i would like brutally honest replies.

How do i know if i will enjoy the quant career? Is PCM+CS or commerce with maths better. What are the best ug and pg degrees. Other than jee, what are some other paths.
Can this degree lead to quant after BA economics from top du college? Also can commerce students do this combo to break into quant?
Hi. So im currently studying in 11th and chose PCM+CS. I want to study economics from London school of economics or St Stephens Delhi. I chose pcm as i could have many opportunities and also lse prefers subjects like physics and chem and lists accounting and business studies as not preferred. So for cuet can i write my exam for economics as well. Will nta or maybe st stephens disqualify me cuz i didnt study it as my cbse subject?
Hello. Im currently in 11th PCM+CS student. School just started so ye. Im lowkey interested for a economics degree in st Stephens or london school of economics. Thing is lse prefers subjects like physics,chemistry and lists accounting and business studies not preferred. So st Stephen is like a backup for me. Anyways, lse chances are low. So if i study economics through nios only, can i use it as domain subject. Will college or nta make any problem or disqualify me. And should i start learning economics at 11th itself asap? Since im not able to focus on one career itself i took science so i can keep every option available. I have a day to decide between PCM+CS or commerce with maths. Is there any scope to breakthrough in aerospace or climate engineering without writing jee? Or should i drop engineering plan and go towards other things i listed which im more interested towards.

How do i make my school let me do pcm with economics instead of computer science. The school system categorizes science students as "computer or bio science". I wanna pursue finance in the future and im keeping pcm for other options. I also have genuine interest in economics. If they dont allow should i switch to commerce with maths? Or keep cs and continue.
