Bad shock?

I might just be overthinking things, but today my car made the same, super loud noise twice. Once while going 50 mph (unsure if there was a pothole or something in the road for this one) and then a second time while going 30 mph over a pavement bump (definitely no pothole). Both times from the rear passenger side, both times incredibly loud and disproportionate to the road conditions.

Otherwise the car is driving fine, I have no issues turning or braking, there’s no constant noises or rattling or anything like that. I just want to make sure the car is safe to drive or if I should bring it to a mechanic. This is a 2018 Subaru crosstrek (shocks have never been replaced to my knowledge, I bought it used off a lease in 2020).

New to dashcams and looking for some advice

I have been looking through all the recommendations in this sub to find the right dash cam for myself. However I am not incredibly tech literate so wanted to make sure I’m doing this right. This is the dashcam I plan to buy with the hardwire kit and SD card. Is there anything else I need to get this set up? And is wiring a dashcam yourself simple, or should I have a professional do install? (If it is simple, does anyone have an installation tutorial video they’d be able to share?)

Thanks for any help!!
