I’m so scared

I’ve been having hair shedding for an about a month now, and got diagnosed with TE during that time, but it feels like my part has been widening as well, especially the crown. It also sometimes feels irritated and has redness and slight dandruff. I just want to know if this is normal for TE or not.

Weird discoloration/ thinning part

I got diagnosed with Telegon Effluvium about a week ago ( I’ve been shedding for a month) but I am also starting to notice weird orange discoloration. Does anyone know what this means for have had this happen to them? As well with the thinning in the back of the scalp? I’ve been using anti-fungal/ dandruff shampoo. I really don’t know what else to do, I’m going to make an appointment with a dermatologist but would love any insight or help in the meantime.

Hair won’t stop shedding/ BC

Hi, I am 18 years old, and today I just got diagnosed with Telegon Effluvium. This has taken the biggest toll on my mental health. I am extremely depressed and stressed about my hair and have had low motivation to do anything. I went to the dermatologist today and they diagnosed me with it and told me not to do anything about it and said it should resolve on its own, but when I was at the doctor last, they said that starting Nikki (generic yaz) birth control could be a good idea to help support growth. What do I do?
I went off of Aurovela Fe 1/20 around March, had the one year since loosing my dad anniversary June 6th, lost a little bit of weight (barley, and I already gained it back), and I also quit smoking cannabis. So there are a number of things that could be contributing to this. My blood tests were “normal” but the one that still concerns me is my ferritin since it was at a 37 and they say that it should be at a 70+ for hair growth.
Any advice would be amazing. I started using hair serums and started taking pumpkin seed oil, vitamins, have started to prioritize making sure I get enough protein in each day. My hair shedding around August, but didn’t become too scary/ noticeable until the beginning of September. I really just want this to stop. Does it get worse before it gets better? Or will I see it slowly become less and less each day. Anyone who has been through this and has resolved it/ is going through its advice would be amazing. Especially any hope. All I can do is be hopeful and patient, it’s just hard because I really want to feel beautiful/ like myself again.
Also, my derm said I probably shouldn’t go on Nikki since it is 50/50 with how it effects hair, but I would love to hear anyone’s experience on how going on BC/ any other mediation/ supplement has helped them, besides minoxidil, I’ve heard great things about it, but my derm also said I shouldn’t go on that unless things get worse and don’t stop in 6 months.
