Would you recommend this Occupation?

Hello everyone. I'm sure you've gotten a gazillion questions like this but I'd really like to know. Is this a good long-term job? I'm currently in my last year of high school and probably the only one in my school that hasn't chosen a career.

This is what I'm looking for and Operation Research Analyst is the closest one to what I'm looking for (according to Gemini 😅):

High Salary early on: basically making bag in my early 20s unlike doctors who peak when their hair turns grey 😅
Good Work-life balance: cuz I need time for myself
Passion: I like math and science, and in science I particularly enjoy the solving side

As unbiased and honest as possible, if you could go back to you younger self, would you recommend this? Is it a fun job? Is it super inflated or hard to find a job in? Is the entry salary really as high as the internet claims?

For context:

- I love math and I'm pretty good at it ngl, but I'm no genius. Just incase this is the type of person this jobs needs. (cuz i heard you gotta be a real genius for some of these jobs).

- Also both my parents are in the medical field so I've seen first-hand how draining their jobs are just to sustain our comfortable life. So I'd like a math/science related job that comes with the comfortable life like that of a doctor, but without the life-sucking part. High-salary and comfortable for a family, but not life draining and unsustainable. Is this it?

(I apologize in advance if my post is unrelated to this subreddit's theme)

In Need of a Mentor as a Beginner in Running

Long story short, I've been running 5km's on and off for the past 1.5 years and recently ran a couple (like 3 or 4) 10km runs in the past 6 months. My main focus is in the gym, however, as a student entering my last year of high school after the summer break, I'd like to get some accomplishments in long-distance running under my belt before going back to school 😅.

For context, I always found running and sports difficult because my stamina was horrible. But I recently found out about zone 2 training and been doing it on and off after my gym sessions (2 - 3x a week for no more than 30m). After the first 2 weeks I saw noticeable results when i played tennis, for the first time i could play without dying out of breath.

Anyway, I'm returning to the gym and zone 2 training on the treadmill after a couple weeks break and I'd like a mentor to help me skip the trial and error and time spent gaining experience.

My goal is to be able to run a marathon at a good time by the end of August. My fastest 10km was around 53 minutes, however, that was around 4 months ago and I haven't ran any long-distance running since then and have been either slacking previously or doing zone 2 treadmill just recently.

If there's anyone with experience who's willing to spend some time guiding me to build my stamina and speed in order to run a good first marathon alongside gym training, I would deeply appreciate.

In Need of a Mentor as a Beginner

Been a mouth-breather for most of my life, and just recently started adopting mewing into my sleep. Other than light mewing in my sleep I don't really mew at all. I'm trying to get into self-improvement again after falling off, and I'd really like to start giving my face some attention to fix my recessed chin, small jaw, and double chin (been lean bulking for the past 1.5 years, however, I'm not skinny or fat whatsoever, but fit). For context I'm turning 17 in 2 months and weigh about 70kg (about 154lbs for you americans 😅)

Anyway, I've tried to implement mewing so many times in the past 2 years ever since the "trend" became popular, however it just never stuck. I'd like to stop wasting my time and find a mentor who'd be willing to spend a little time getting me on track for that chiseled jawline and save me months of trial and error.

Looking for a disciplined accountability partner

No fluff. I’m honestly starving for a solid accountability partner right now because my consistency needs a major upgrade. I’m a 16yo guy looking for another guy around my age (16-18) who actually wants to lock in and stop wasting time.

Right now, I wanna strive to be at the top my classes in school, staying consistent at the gym, and spending time studying Arabic and Islamic knowledge (I’m Muslim). I'm also actively trying to break some bad, time-wasting habits that have been dragging me down.

You don’t need to have the exact same goals as me, but you do need to have that same hunger to improve. The plan is simple: we check in on each other every few days (maybe every 2 - 4 days), keep each other completely on track, and call each other out if we start slacking off. Just straight up keeping it real. If you’re down to build some actual discipline and stop procrastinating, hit me up with your age and what you’re currently working on
