What is the difference between Mt. Don't and Mt. Death?

They look identical and If I recall tasted the about the same? And I confirmed online these are two real but identical looking flavors.

These Mycenaean armors go insanely hard... Tired of all the excuses for Nolan's laziness.

The visual design we have seen so far for the Odyssey is lazy and ahistorical, its really that simple. You can rant all you want about how its "just a myth" and "just a movie".

Yeah its a myth... that takes place within a specific time frame and a specific location. Hell some historians argue the Trojan War may have really happened. If it didn't happen certainly there were similar events taking place in the Aegean during the time period. This isn't O Brother Where Art Thou, its abundantly clear Nolan is having the story take place in the Bronze Age Aegean. Anachronism can be used as a stylistic choice, but we've yet to see anything that suggests inspiration, only apathy.

Why cant we have a bright, colorful Mediterranean fantasy epic? Why does everything have to be dismal and gray and washed out? What is so wrong with a good faith effort at historical authenticity? We have already seen the visual style of this movie a million times. Netflix is chock full of movies with bearded blonde guys fighting in foggy boreal forests.

Whatever, its just a movie. And another missed opportunity to expose general audiences to something that expands their horizons...

Whats the scoop on swimming in the Columbia? Frenchman's bar area?

I've lived here for a few years and have entered the river a few times while paddle-boarding. I've tried to look up info online but I've gotten conflicting reports about the water quality in the river. On one hand the water looks nice and clear and I haven't had any skin reactions when I've gone in. On the other hand there are giant ships passing through constantly and its hard to imagine it isn't pretty contaminated...

Whats your take on swimming in the river?

Time for an unpopular opinion. I love this show, but I don't like Andor's blaster.

Overall the set design, costuming, and props for Andor are amazing. 10/10 on the cassette futurism aesthetic mixed with some other 20th century art styles.

But I just don't like this thing.

The grip and back half are very nice, but I hate how boxy the front end is. The best looking Star Wars blasters are more angular and sleek: Broomhandles, Lugers, etc. This thing doesn't look like it belongs in a rugged utilitarian space world, it looks like a nerf gun or something you'd see in Guardians of the Galaxy.

I sometimes carry a teeny tiny 9mm when I go hiking in secluded areas and even that can be a pain in the ass to lug around after awhile. I can't imagine Cassian doing his cool secret rebel agent stuff with this thing shoved in his pants. Just cut off the front and give it a tapered barrel with a few greebles and you would have something pretty cool. But I digress.

I know we all love this show and its one of the best things ever made, but I thought I'd nitpick about one of the few things I wasn't crazy about. I'm prepared to be downvoted to hell. Thanks for reading.

PS I am happy to recognize a contrasting example of amazing weapon design from the show: Kleya's blaster in the Hospital sequence is SO perfect.
