Is PIP season starting?
My lead just put a message in the group asking for details like experience, primary skill, CL and all. So I'm wondering... is it the filtering process for the "reaping"?

Is anyone else facing this weird glitch to control brightness where the bar doesn't go up or down with your finger. You have to kinda flick it and that too is only working in stages
I have this grow light which has a controller to turn it on/off, change modes and set timmer. Some times I am out of the city and if power goes off even for a second, it doesn't turn on by itself even with timer because you need to press the switch in the controller. I'd like to either bypass this controller or I am okay to just cut it out, as I have now bought smart plug which I can control remotely to turn on/off thr lights. Can somebody please advise how do I bypass or remove this controller? I have attached an amazon screenshot of specs, if it helps.
I see something like fungal growth in my 3 day old terrarium. I had added a lot of springtails but for some reason I could only spot 2 and neither of them are around the suspected fungus. Should I add more? The terrarium is quite large so I guess more would be better?
Hi everyone. I built this terrarium today and I'm so happy with the way it turned out, it's airtight sealed with cling wrap.

Would love to know your thoughts or advice if any?

And yes I did add an AI edited picture at the end because I couldn't get it to remove the reflection floor or my phone any other way.
I built this terrarium yesterday and while building leaves didn't seem to have any issues. I took the cuttings from a potted Begonia. Today I'm noticing that one of the leaves has developed 2 bumps. Don't look kike fungus or anything but I am curious what could this be, should I be worried?

It's an airtight jar.
I keep seeing these influencers on YouTube and instagram building terrariums with moss and putting the plant cuttings directly inside without putting it in water to let it develop roots first. "It will root soon", is what they always say. I was wondering if anyone has ever tried it in their terrariums?

I mean there is a possibility that those terrariums are built only for the purpose of content creation, we don't know if the entire terrarium rots away in a week right?
I recently bought a new guinea impatien, sadly the pot is too big for the plant's original grow pot, so I filled up rest of the space with coco peat. But I just had an idea, somebody once gifted me a money plant which I am not a big fan of. So I was thinking what if I root the money plant in the outer pot, that way root system will stay seperate and I can virtually create a visual uniqueness. Coule there be any negatives from this?

I hope the rim of the grow pot is visible to show the difference.

My indoor plant substrate seems to have a lot of critters. I know they are good at getting rid of fungus, but is there such a thing as too many of them? Should I consider soil change?
It's been 1 year since I made this terrarium and it seems to be doing just fine. For the past couple of months I didn't even spray water it until today. I received a lot of helpful tips from this page, thank you all!
One question though if anyone knows. I had cushion moss inside (near red fittonia) which slowly turned dark, with green tips. I thought of removing it but I noticed that criters are living in its shade so I let it be. Now its developing a green web like thing(in the second picture). Does anyone know what it could be?
I am a strong believer of don't fix if it ain't broke so I most likely wouldn't remove it since it doesn't seem to be doing any harm...just curious.
Once again than you!

I have been looking for Rex Begonia, but it's not available anywhere. Online or offline..does anyone know where can I find it?

I am planning to go on a trip to Wayanad in a couple of days. I am a terrarium enthusiast so I was hoping to collect some moss and other small creepers. Is it okay or are there any laws against taking plants from forests? Of course I wouldn't take anything from a protected area like a national park or sanctuary, just regular forest around water falls or hotels, would it be fine?
